Afriel shrugged. "I don't know. I just thought you might like one." She looked around for something else.
Afriel shrugged. "I don't know. I just thought you might like one." She looked around for something else.
Zackary tugged on her. “If you wanna get me a knife, I’ll take a knife.”
Afriel looked at him, "but, I want you to like it." She complained.
Zackary smiled. “I’ll like whatever you choose!”
Afriel narrowed her eyes but turned back to the case with knifes. "Which do you like?" She asked.
Zackary blinked. “Er…” He walked over. “I’ll like whatever you pick.”
Afriel glared at him but pointed to one that seemed rather fancy. "Do you like that one?"
Zackary simpered under her glare and nodded quickly. “Yeah! It looks great!”
"Great." Afriel smiled and called over an employee to open the case, once they did Afriel paid for it and handed it to Zackary.
Zackary took the knife carefully and examined it hungrily. It glimmered appealingly in the light, and he smiled.
"So you do like it?" Afriel smiled and again kissed him on the cheek.
Zackary nodded. “It’s very elegant. And smooth. Mmm…”
Afriel smiled, "that's what you needed a knife for." She laughed.
He smiled up at her. “Yeah? To admire it?”
Afriel nodded her head, "but if you ever stab someone with it your on your own." She joked.
Zackary nodded thoughtfully. “I think I’ll just admire it until I need to stab someone.”
"Well make sure you're stabbing them for a good reason then- we shouldn't be talking about this here. We're getting weird looks." Afriel laughed and started nudging him out of the store. "Good bye, thank you!" She called to the employees.
Zackary waved and put the knife in it’s sheath. “Should we go home?” He grabbed her hand.
Afriel smiled up at him, "yes, I believe home would be a great idea."
Zackary grinned and pointed in a direction. “Home is that way.”
"Fly, or walk?" Afriel cocked her head to the side.
Zackary frowned a bit. “I’d rather we walk.”
"Right sorry. I forgot." Afriel looked down at the ground. "Sorry."
Zackary hugged her and kissed her gently. “That’s okay. Besides, flying is overrrated.”
"I guess." Afriel smiled and started off twords the bakery, dragging Zackary along with her.
Zackary tailed her hastily, occasionally jogging to keep up. She walked very fast. Where’d she get all of this energy?
Afriel laughed, "sorry, I've never walked home before." She slowed her pace a little to look around as she walked.
Zackary smiled a bit. “That’s okay. Just slow it down.”
Afriel let her pace slow as she fell into step with him. "Its much prettier down here."
Zackary smiled and squeezed her hand. “I know. It’s so nice.”
