@blue_topaz

(thanks uwu, I appreciate it)

"Hey!" Barry indignantly straightened up, leaning forward to flick her back. "Thou shalt not flicketh the foreheadeth."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

"That was horrible archaic grammar," Kasey teased as she cleaned up the cards. The late time seemed to be making her a bit looser than usual, and she would soon be bordering loopy.

@blue_topaz

Barry grinned. “Chocolate. Unlimited chocolate.” He began to count off on his fingers. “One day where you’ll let me completely geek out to you. We can go to the library.” His heart was beginning to race. A kiss. he didn’t say it aloud.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Internally debating if she should have heard that thought or not. Lol.)

"What? No. Not unlimited chocolate. I can barely buy enough for myself on my budget," Kasey argued, shaking her head.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Yeah… Whelp, it's too late, now… Unless he does it again, of course.)

"Ah, yes. The sorrows of not having chocolate," Kasey chuckled. "Something every girl experiences basically every day."

@blue_topaz

You know what I experience every day? The sorrow of being too scared to ask you out., he chuckled to himself. “Hey, guys too. I dream of chocolate every day…” he made a dreamy face.
(My writing really crappy today sorry again)

@blue_topaz

(Oof sorry)

Barry frowned again. He’d been lying his whole life, he knew eek an answer was too quick or too slow. He didn’t press though, just lay down on his blanket. “You tired or do still want to something?”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Lol. It's okay.)

"Um… I think we should go to sleep," Kasey answered quietly, standing from her place across from him. Mostly because my blockings are started to go down due to the lateness, and I can hear more of your thoughts than I should…

@blue_topaz

Barry didn’t believe her for a second, but he let it go. Leaning over, he switched off her lamp. “Guess we should sleep then.”

@blue_topaz

Sorry I was at a party)
Sure I can)

Barry rolled over onto his back and stared at the dim ceiling, taking care nkt to wake Kasey. He didn’t know what time it was, only that he’d fallen asleep at around three, woken up at four, and hadn’t been able to sleep again. At some point during the night he’d given up and pulled out his phone and ebook, but now he was just lying there, wide awake, straining to see the details of the room through the dim light of the rising sun. He hoped that Kasey’s telepathy did not extend to dreams.

He’d dreamed of her again. The girl with the hair as black as pitch, the eyes like twin eclipses, the huge, sturdy crows wings, the broken spirit. Scars marred her limbs and face, he had some of his own to match from when things had gotten particularly bad, but nothing to even compare to hers. In the dream, she’d slid a ring off her finger and pressed it into his hand, dissolving into smoke before he could say goodbye.

Barry now fingered the same ring, hanging from a cord around his neck, lost in memory and regret.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(It's all good, no worries!
Also, SAD!)

Kasey's alarm went off at six o'clock that morning, and she groaned and rolled over to slap it off. She say up quickly with a gasp of pain and shock, having rolled into the side where she had gotten tattooed.

She shut her alarm off and gently rubbed at her side. Looking at the floor, she saw Barry fingering the ring he always wore, and she once again wondered what the story was behind it.

"Morning, Bare," she greeted him gently.

@blue_topaz

Oof yeah)

Barry’s eyes, which had been slowly closing, flew open when he heard a gasp of pain. “Kasey?? Are you okay?? And good morning.” He rubbed his eyes tiredly, giving her a concerned once over. “Are you hurt??”
