(It’s no problem at all, and if it’s three in the morning I’m going to be a therapist and urge you to sleep)

Barry furrowed his brow when he saw the weird look in Fade’s eyes, but said nothing.

well snap, did think I'd see someone on here (other than my mom) telling me to go to sleep ahaha, but hey! I guess I'll do that and also @Caustic_Fraust same dude same, but for the sake of it just try to convince yourself you like it, 'cause you know what they say fake it till you make (I actually got advice from someone on here, they got on my head because I said my art was garbage) So then I think I'll cya'll tomorrow, deuces to you all

Oliver glances between Fade and Barry, he blinks, i wonder what’s going on here? he thinks, trying to figure out what’s wrong with his new friends, noticing how they’re acting all off

(Sorry I dipped out yesterday. Had a LOT on my hands)
Peony ate in silence as she watched all the others. She had never seen such a huge variety of people before. It was always just her and her tribe. She pick up quickly that Berry, Fade, Aether, and Magdelena were acquainted with each other, a little more than the others. As she ate, she played with her beads, quietly giggling at the ringing sound they made when then clicked together.

Sym observed the foreign women, tilting his head when she played with the beads. "What are those for?" He asked after a while of studying her. He was interested in learning more about humans and species like humans.

Deleted user

"Part of my culture," She told him, looking up at Sym with shining golden eyes. "One for each year til married. I have 17!" she showed his a few, taking them from her hair and placing them in his hands. All in shiny burst of color, like stained glass, the colors exploding in his hands as the light touched them. "You cannot keep, I tell Fade the same." She said with a sly giggle and a wink.

Deleted user

"Not sure what that means, but I'm aromantic and therefore don't want any relationships." Sym explained, shrugging his shoulders.

Deleted user

Aromantic… Peony had heard the term before, in her summer Humanities class. "Meh…" she said returning the shrug. "I hear saying, 'To each man, his own..' or some words like those." She gave Sym a smile, the tattoo on her cheek crinkling with the motion.

Deleted user

"Nice accent." Sym complemented, yawning and standing up. He was going to find the park, he remembered where it was (Hopefully) and wanted to go watch the band that sometimes preformed there.

Deleted user

"Thanks and appreciation." She replied with a bow of her head. "I hear that a lot from others. Is it true very strange?" she asked with a tilt of her head, she busied her hands with returning the beads to their rightful locks of raven-black hair. She hoped her embarrassment didn't show.

After Aether had rushed out of the dining hall, she had no idea where to go. The dorm? No, that would be the first place they'll look ('if they look,' said the voice inside her head). Out of the glass doors, she spotted what she hoped was the park. Aether ran towards it, pushing open the doors, and running past other students wandering around. She plopped on a bench and put her head in her hands. Why was she like this?

Oliver stretches, deciding to end his long period of observing them, “I don’t think your accent is strange at all Peony, it’s very pretty!” he says with a smile

Deleted user

"Toodles," Sym said, walking away in the direction of the park. Humans are weird He muttered in his head and he walked out of the dining hall.

Deleted user

"Thanks and appreciation, Oliver." she smiled. Then, looking around the table, she saw that Aether was missing. "Where has she gone?" She asked him, feeling slightly bad that she hadn't even realized she had left.

@blue_topaz

Barry glanced back at the door. Where was Aether? He frowned, touching the skylark tattoo on his forearm and muttering a charm. The skylark peeled off his skin and ripples in the air, solidifying. Life flowed through it and it perked its head up and fluffed its wings. He sent jt away with a war of his fingers to check on her.

Watching Barry, she gasped. "Lūthor!" Charmer, she exclaimed. She had seen elves like those in the tribe. She had never seen one so young though. "That is very cool.." she told him, though the word 'cool' felt strange on her tongue.

@blue_topaz

Barry rubbed at the nape of his neck sheepishly. “Thanks. I just… i dunno, I experiment with magical inks a lot. I don’t have a lot of cool ones like that. Mostly they just move around on my skin or change colour.”

Aether was still in the park when something soft landed her shoulder. She jumped and fell off the bench, twisting around to see who or what touched her. Some type of bird was sitting on the bench, cocking its head at her. "Wha-what are you?" she asked, stuttering slightly.

Deleted user

“How do you do that?” Oliver asks and tilts his head, “what makes the ink magic?”

Deleted user

"Still cool…" Peony countered with a wave of her hand. "You are no human, yes?" She placed her head in her hands as she rested her elbows on the table. Learning about others was so cool. She would never have gotten this knowledge before, not with the tribe.

@blue_topaz

The skylark made a soft cooing sound and nuzzled Aether’s cheek gently, fluffing its wings and shifting feet.

~~~
Barry shrugged bashfully. “It’s just… spells and stuff. Add pixie dust to pale ink and it’ll shift colours and disappear at night. Leave it out in the moonlight and it’ll revert and do the opposite. It’s like….. potions. I dunno, it’s not a power, anyone can do it if you have the talent for it. My actual powers are weather manipulation, but weakly.” Turning to Peony, he nodded. “I’m a very small part elf. Like a sixth or something.”
Deleted user
Peony nodded. "Understood." she offered him a smile and a thumbs up. "It takes centuries in my land, for one to do what you just did." she clapped for him, knocking her water over in the process. With a sigh, she shook her head. You are clumsy, just like Papa said… she smiled, giving a soft laugh. Picking up the cup, she whispered. "Rinn-ha!" Slowly, the water reversed, back into her cup. She then set the cup to the side.
Deleted user
Oliver laughs, “I wish I could do that! You don’t know how many things I knock over on the daily!”
Deleted user
"Haha!" Peony laughed. "Oliver, trick works with water mostly. Other things are much harder…" She said with a shrug. She wanted to improve the skill, and excitement surged through her at the thought of that coming true, and then some.
@blue_topaz
Barry blinked, impressed. "I've never seen anyone execute a charm so easily. What language was the spell in? I have a bit of an interest in languages, I think it would be interesting to measure if the strength of a spell could vary on the language it was cast in…." He trailed off, embarrassed.
