Sequoia shrugged, considering the new option. Once she noticed Aniña yawning she grinned fondly. "We've done a lot today, would you like to sleep?" Would they sleep together again? Sequoia hoped so. Just sitting up with Aniña had been wonderous. Sleeping beside her, with arms around her wife and her wife's arms around her, would be paradise.

Aniña reluctantly nodded, "Y-Yeah. Do you want to stay together or not?" She asked, peaking an eye open to look up at Sequoia. She smiled a little and snuggled in her wife, hoping she understood that she wanted them to stay together.

(I'll be on until 6:30 or so)

"Is that even a question?" Sequoia teased, pecking Aniña on the head. "I wouldn't sleep anywhere else." especially because I'd have nightmares of you dying she added mentally. Her sleep last night had been less than ideal. She'd only been able to calm down once she listened to Aniña's weak but steady breathing.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Uh… is that your time or ACDT?)

Aniña let out a breath and nodded, slowly peeling herself away from Sequoia and rubbing her eyes like a little kid, "Okay… come on then." She said sleepily, yawning a little at the same time. she held out her hand for her wife to take with a tired smile.

(My time! Sorry about that.)

Sequoia yawned a few seconds after Aniña. Shoot, now she was getting tired too! How dare Aniña get all tired and warm and cute! It just wasn't fair. Stupid wife being all hot and perfect and…. her internal voice teetered off once she noticed Aniña's hand, which she quickly grabbed. "Your room or mine?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Mine…" She mumbled, interlacing their fingers and leading them to her room. She yawned again and leaned on Sequoia. Was this a side effect from the antidote? Once at her room, she let go of her wife's hand and ran to the bed, snuggling under the covers right away.

Sequoia pulled herself into bed beside Aniña. This was nice. The bed was warm and so was Aniña. Sequoia was glad she was allowed to do this. She snuggled into Aniña's side, feeling happy and content. She closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep, only to find that she couldn't. No matter how much she squirmed and burrowed into Aniña and took deep, soothing breaths, she couldn't fall asleep. "Can you talk to me? I can't sleep"

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Why can't you sleep?" Aniña muttered sleepily. She peaked an eye open and looked up at Sequoia. She tangled her legs with her wife's, and buried her head in the crook of her neck, "Is there something on your mind?" Her muffled voice floated up quietly and she let out a deep breath as she did so.

Sequoia wriggled around a bit, avoiding the question for as long as possible. What if Aniña thought she was being stupid? Or thought Sequoia was making fun of her? Or something different but equally as bad? After a couple minutes of silence, she croaked out "I'm scared that once I close my eyes, you'll… you'll die. I know it's dumb, I just…" Her voice trailed off and she felt awkward.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña smiled softly and planted a quick kiss to Sequoia's forehead, running a hand through her wife's hair, "Hey, it's okay. It's not dumb and I'm flattered you care that much. I'm not going to die, you healed me. I'm going to live, not die, okay? I'm not going anywhere." She said softly, wrapping her arms around her a little tighter.

Sequoia nodded, but she still couldn't find any chill. "I know. I know. I just… I feel like as soon as I go to seep you're going to dissolve or have a heart attack, or… whatever." She shrugged, shrinking into Aniña's arms with a sigh. Despite Aniña's assurances, sleep still felt a million miles away. Maybe a little farther.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“I’m not going to have a heart attack, Liran. I’m alive and breathing a fine. That’s not going to change for a couple hours while you sleep.” Aniña let out a small sigh of her own, tangling her legs with Sequoia’s and burying her face in her chest. Gosh did she feel tired. Even though her wife couldn’t she definitely could.

"Yeah, I know," Sequoia muttered, giving Aniña's hair a few soft strokes. She was being irrational and she knew it but she couldn't shake the feeling that something really bad was going to happen to Aniña once she fell asleep. It was like The Destroyer himself were breathing down her neck. She pulled Aniña closer. "Sorry for keeping you awake, I'll try to be quiet now."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña nodded slowly, "It's okay though…" It didn't take longer after that for her eyes to become heavy and for sleep to take her. Still, even with her shoulder healed, nightmares plagued her while she slept. Even in her dreams she was sure discomfort showed on her sleeping face.

Sequoia tossed and tuned for a couple hours more until she drifted off into an uneasy sleep. Every few hours she woke from a nightmare, gasping and grasping for Aniña's hand. She would listen to Aniña breath until she was calmed down enough to fall back asleep.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña faintly felt Sequoia wake up multiple times in the night and subconsciously held her tighter in her sleep. Her breathing became quieter as the night went on, her pulse fading a little bit still there. It was almost like she was dead but if you tried hard enough you could tell she was alive.

The longer the night went on the more terrified Sequoia became each time she woke up. It took her more and more time to realize that Aniña was alive. Eventually, she just pulled herself into Aniña's arms, clenched her eyes tight, and panicked silently until morning came.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eventually, Aniña awoke with a small groan and gasping for breath like she hadn’t been for a while. After a few moments when tried to go back to sleep, snuggling into Sequoia.

Sequoia had been sleeping lightly all night, so when Aniña awoke, she did too. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" She panted, patting around until she could grab Aniña's hand. Once she had it, she held it to her heart breathing deeply as she stared at her wife.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Aniña nodded slowly and let out a breath, “I’m fine, Liran. Just a little out of breath is all.” She sighed and rubbed at her face with her free hand. It felt like she’d just run a marathon and didn’t know why.

Sequoia pulled Aniña closer until she was all but drowning in her wife. She was glad Aniña was awake and breathing again. "You stopped breathing when you fell asleep. It was like every time I woke up you were less alive." Her voice was tinged with fear.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“But I am breathing now so it’s fine. I’m fine.” Aniña smiled soft,y am depressed a kiss to her wife’s head and snuggled into the crook of her neck. She took a few deep breaths to calm herself down and returning her breathing to normal.

(Hey, I have an idea about how the plot could go if you're interested. We'll have to stop the rp to talk about it tho)

Sequoia mindlessly petted Aniña's head, trying to calm the fuck down so she could sleep. It worked decently. She slipped into a light but undisturbed sleep, not waking until the morning. She woke slowly, snuggling deeper and deeper into her wife's arms. Everything was so warm and comfortable. She didn't want to wake up and have to face the morning.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Sure, that’s fine and I’m all ears)

Aniña fell into another deep sleep until morning, still feeling likenshe’d run a marathon of a lifetime. She groaned and rolled onto her other side hugging herself. And burying herself in the covers. She didn’t want to get up at all but knew at some point they’d have to.

(What if the shoulder medicine or the poison did something weird and made Aniña forget about everything back to arriving at the house? We get maximum angst by having some unrequited pining until Sequoia convinces Aniña to fall back in love with her.)

Deleted user

(Cool! How do you wanna play it? We could have Sequoia trying to kiss Aniña and getting tossed across the room OR Aniña waking up entangled in Sequoia and being hella confused about what happened.)

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Um…. we could alsways do both? Aniña wakes up with Sequoia’s arms around her and she’s like “da fuq?” Sequoia goes to kiss her and gets yeeted off the bed?)

Deleted user

(Amazing. Can I just tell you how much I love the phrase 'gets yeeted off the bed'? Also, I feel like you should probs start so you can establish the confusion.)

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Ahaha, Okay sounds good)

As Aniña gradually woke up, she realised her head was pounding a little but she shook it off, rolling over where she found Sequoia lying there. She frowned and hastily sat up in the bed, utterly confused as to why the other was in her bed, “What the hell are you doing in my bed?” She demanded, not caring if she woke her up.
