It was 11:50 now, Skylar couldn't wait anymore. She walked outside with her coat on and waited for Cece and Luca to arrive.

Cece walked with her head down, shaking from the cold. She turned a corner and ran straight into someone. "Oh, hey Skylar,"

Luca ran across the street, narrowly avoiding being hit buy a car. "Sorry!" He yelled, still trying to make his way to the apartment.

"Hi," Skylar said to Cece, "So, we just wait for Luca and the person you mentioned, then we learn about all this, right?"

11:57… Luca thought as he checked his phone before putting it back in his pocket. He hid the journal inside of his coat as he say the two girls across the street.

"Person I mentioned?" Cece asked. Crap, did I not tell them we were driving? she thought, mentally slapping herself. "Oh, right… umm… well, about that…"

Skylar saw Luca running to her and Cece, "Oh! Luca's here!" Skylar said, now we just need the friend of yours."

He panted as he made his way over to Cece and Skylar. "O…okay…I'm here…"

Cece laughed nervously. "Yep, great. My friend who's totally coming…" she rambled.

Luca leaned back against the wall, breathing heavily. "Who are we waiting for?"

Skylar nodded, "I'd like to know that too"

He looked at the two girls. "We invited this stranger to meet us and we don't know who they are?"

"I mean… Cece knows who they are…"

Luca leaned in to whisper to Skylar. "Are you sure we can trust her?" He backed away from Skylar. "Can I trust you?"

"You can choose to trust me or not, same with Cece, but I trust Cece," Skylar shrugged, "If you think about it, can we even trust ourselves?"

"Don't give me an existential crisis now." Luca rubbed his head.
(I have to go for now bye!)

Cece looked between the two. "Okay, we're not meeting a stranger. We're meeting my dad. And he's not coming to us, we're going to him." she clarified. She bit her lip.
