Mika sighed as he unlocked the door to his apartment. Another day working as a barista, rather than doing his job as an actual manager. He really needed to figure out how to hire the right people, or his small cafe business was going to fall apart.

Cam stopped scrolling through her phone and stood up, wanting food and headed into her kitchen. She opened the fridge and yelled "Damnit!" There was no food in the fridge but some onions and lettuce and she already had a salad today. "Now I have to go outside." She groaned.

Mika jammed the key into keyhole, but it got stuck. He growled, jiggling the key violently as hey grew more and more impatient. "God dammit," he mumbled, realizing it was going to take him a while to get his door open.

Cam trudged out of her apartment and saw someone down the hallway struggling with their door, she walked towards them. Cam hated when the door got stuck so, she might as well help the other person.

Mika heard footsteps behind him and straightened up, turning around to see who it was. He squinted, thinking she looked a bit familiar. Does she live around here? he thought to himself, looking her up and down.
