"Do you need some help?" Cam asked, pausing then realizing who it was. "Oh! You're the nice guy from the cafe!" Cam exclaimed in realization, her accent very strong in this moment.

@SaltyLasagna

His eyes widened. This was the guy he served this morning? The same guy? He blinked a few times. "And you're…. chamomile tea with a cinnamon roll?"

"You remember my order?" She asked, tilting her head. She remembered him, of course, but him remembering her order. That was kinda weird, and adorable, not that she would say so.

@SaltyLasagna

(sdkjfjsdkjshd now I feel weird bc I remember people's orders sometimes if I actually make some sort of connection with a customer hhhh)
He felt his face heat up a bit. "Oh, y-yeah… You were the first order of the day, and since I didn't know your name, that's all I could really call you?" He turned his face away, looking down at his doormat. "Sorry, I know it's odd."

"I'm Cameron, but everyone calls me Cam." She introduces herself, holding out her hand. "You need help with the…" Cam paused for a moment. "Door! That's the word."

(Lol, I don't work at a cafe but I remeber all of my frinds orderrs.//

@SaltyLasagna

(clingy isn't bad tho?)
Mika chuckled. "Yeah, the door. My key isn't working, it keeps getting stuck." He gestured to the gold key, frowning at it. "I need to get a new lock."

Deleted user

Cam laughed and pushed away her bangs from her face. "Mine used to do that all the time!" She tells him and looks at the door. "For the longest time I just kicked mine till it opened."

@SaltyLasagna

(lol like I said tho that's not a bad thing)
Mika laughed. "I'm afraid I'd completely break my door if I did that." He tried the key again as he talked, but it was still stuck. He repressed his groan of frustration and leaned against the wall, trying to think of a solution.

Cameron walks up to the door. "May I see the key?" She asks, tilting her head and studying the door.

@SaltyLasagna

"Oh, yeah, here," he said, sliding the key out of the lock and handing it to her. He felt a bit embarrassed by the fact that he couldn't do it himself, but he appreciated the fact that she was willing to help. He felt himself smile a bit. She's kinda sweet, he thought.

"Thanks, lemme see here." She mutters, putting the key in and fiddling with it a bit. "Wait a minute and… there!" She claims as the door unlocks.

@SaltyLasagna

"You did it!" He said, eyes lighting up. "Thank you so much!" He felt an overwhelming urge to hug her, but that'd be inappropriate, since they just met, and he didn't know what customs she was used to in Italy. Should he give her a high five? Shake her hand? Wave? Standing there staring at her awkwardly definitely wasn't it.

"Yup! My padre was a locksmith and he taught me and my sibling how to fix locks and such." Cam laughed as she went in for a hug. She had been told multiple times that she was over affectionate by both her family and the small town she used to live in.

@SaltyLasagna

He felt himself relax as Cam went in for a hug. Okay, so I wasn't being weird. Hugging is a good thing, he thought, smiling and wrapping his arms around her briefly before pulling away. "Do you think you could show me how to change one?" he asked with a laugh. "I don't want to have to deal with it getting stuck all the time."

Cam smiled widely. "Sure!" She agreed, happy he wasn't strange with touching like some of her friends. Well, a lot of her friends.
