"Well that's because you went back to bed. Not get.uuup." Afriel tugged on his arm determined to get him up.
"Well that's because you went back to bed. Not get.uuup." Afriel tugged on his arm determined to get him up.
“Noooooo I’m dyyyiiiiinnnngggggggggggg…” He shook his head weakly, side to side like a child.
"come on! This is like the bag all over again." Afriel continued to tugged on his arm for a little longer before giving up.
Zackary relaxed into the bed, sighing. “It’s so commmmfyyyyyyy and I’m dyyyyiiiiinnnngggggggg…”
"Stop dying Zackary. I kinda like having you around." Afriel rolled her eyes with a small laugh. "In fact I kinda need you."
Zackary wrapped his limbs around her and pulled her onto the bed, mainly against himself. “Mmmm then don’t get up… I am feeling kind of feverish, though.” He leaned his forehead on her face. He was warmer than usual.
Afriel didn't pull back but instead let him pull her back down. "Hmm, maybe Eden has some medicine? But you are hotter then usual. And not in a good way."
Zackary curled his wings around her and relaxed again. “I can check later if it gets worse. I’ll be fine…”
"Yeah well if you die I'll kill you again." Afriels voice trailed off as she spoke. Her own wings adding to the layer around them.
Zackary snuggled closer to her, his fevered heat adding more heat to the snuggle. “I won’t die.”
"You're seriously burning. Are you sure you're okay?" Afriel pulled back slightly to look him in the eye.
Zackary’s eyes were half-closed. “Mmmhmm… just tired…”
"Last time you where this tired you almost died Zackary." Afriles eyes pleaded. "What's really wrong?"
Zackary stirred sleepily. “Really? I can’t recall… I think I just have a fever. I’ll be alright.”
"Yeah well I can recall it. You gave me a heart attack. I forced the medic to heal you." Afriel cupped his face with on of her hands. A worried expression still on her face.
Zackary’s face squished up cutely. It would’ve been cuter if he wasn’t sweaty and feverish.
“I’ll be fine this time…”
"Zackary." Afriel glared down at him. "What will it take to get you to drag yourself out of this bed and down stairs to get some medicine?"
Zackary sighed softly. “Nothing. You and the bed are just so comfyyyyy…”
"Zackary." Afriels tone softened, "don't do this. You're going to give me another heart attack."
Zackary shoved his heated face into her neck. “I’ll be fiiiiine!”
Afriel sighed. "If you've been stabbed again I really need to know."
Zackary shook his head. “You can check me… I just have a fever.”
Afriel nodded her head. "Fine. But when Eden come up here looking for us you are going to take some medicine. Deal?"
Zackary sighed and rolled over, letting her go. “You go work… tell her what’s going on. She’ll need you today.”
"Fine. But I'll be back in a bit." Afriel reluctantly left and made her way down stairs. "Hey Eden, Zackarys not feeling well today. Got any medication for fevers?"
Zackary rolled over onto his other shoulder, wrapping himself up in his wings. He felt worse than what he let on. Now that he was awake, his body ached all over.
Eden cocked her head to the side before leaving to her room and only returning with some medicine. "This should help for a fever." Afriel nodded her head in thanks and took off back up the stairs. "Hey I got you some meds. Eden said it should help."
Zackary curled up tightly. “No I don’t need that artificial stuff. I’ll just let my body do its thing.”
"Last time your body tried to kill you." Afriel rolled her eyes, worry still in her expression.
Zackary looked at her owlishly from his wings. “When was that?”
