(Yeah sure.)
"Hey, hey Zackary guess what." Afriel poked his face lightly. It was early in the morning, long before they had to be up for work, and of course Afriel was already awake.

"Hey, hey Zackary guess what." Afriel poked his face lightly. It was early in the morning, long before they had to be up for work, and of course Afriel was already awake.
Zackary shook his head slightly and moved his still sleeping face away from her finger. Instead of a constructed sentence as a response, he grunted sleepily.
"Zaaackary. Look at my wings." Afriel stretched out one of her wings. Once a pure white now a dull gray.
Zackary reached his arms out of his roll of gray feathers and grabbed her wings, tugging them close.
“They comfyyyy…”
"Look at yours!" Afriel pulled one of his wings out partly. "Have you not noticed?"
Zackary gave a tiny groan in anger as his body got washed in cold from the parting of his wing. He tugged on Afriel again, attempting to get her to lie down again.
Afriel smiled slightly. "Oh come on, how have you not broken the habit of sleeping in late yet?"
Zackary finally tugged her down and snuggled into her, wrapping his wings around them again. They were no longer their sleek black, nor the speckled gray. They were a darker shade of gray, with tips of light gray. He shoved his face into the crook of her neck with a sigh and no response.
"Mmh." Afriel ran her fingers through Zackary's hair. A smile still lighting her lips. "You should really wake up early." She mumbled happily.
Zackary shook his head a little. “I like sleep. You wake up too early.” He curled their legs together and relaxed.
"I also go to bed early." Afriel joked with a small laugh.
Zackary sighed loudly. “I go to bed with you and I’m still tired all the time!”
Afriel continued to tease Zackarys hair with her fingers and laughed. "Are you sure? Maybe I should wake you up earlier."
Zackary shook his head again. “Nooooo I wanna sleep in… I love it so much…”
"Mhm, well maybe we can sleep in today." Afriel closed her eyes with a small sigh.
Zackary made a faint sound in his throat. He was already drifting off slowly. He shifted closer to her, his head so comfy in her neck.
Afriel fell asleep not long after. Her hand still in his hair and her arm drapped over him.
Zackary shifted protectively around her, wrapping his wings around them and tucking them in under them like a blanket.
After another hour or two Afriel woke up once again. She yawned sleepily as she opened her eyes. "Mmh, ready to be awake now?"
Zackary was back to snoring into her neck, his wings fluttering with every exhale. He was not ready.
"Zackary, love." Afriel kissed the top of his head with a small smile. "Wakey wakey."
Zackary gave a stifled exhale of one waking up and moved his head away from her neck. His wings stretched out luxuriously.
Afriel yawned once again, feeling more tired then she'd been the first time she woke up. "Injoy your sleep?"
Zackary nodded and set his head back down on her shoulder. “It was nice. Yours?”
"Hmm, I'm some how even more tired." Afriel poked the back of his head lightly.
Zackary hummed gently and rubbed her neck with his pointy nose. “That’s the best part of sleep.”
"Feeling even more tired?" Afriel laughed lightly. "But like, we should get up now."
Zackary groaned gently. “No, you can tell her I died.”
"You will be dead if Eden finds out." Afriel wiggled away. "Come on."
“I feel like deeaaaaaaaath…” Zackary flopped down on his back, his wings limp on either side.
