"Radical. I'm throwing a party with some friends for all the monsters n the block, wanna come? It'll be really fun." She shot the girl a smile, hoping she'd come over. She wanted to meet as many people as possible and this seemed like a great way to do it, especially when there were way too many people working their way into the neighborhood for her to keep track of.
"Um I guess." Vanca had never really been to a party before, and one that was for monsters sounded fun. A way to make new friends and meet new people. "Yeah I'll come." She fixed her answer not wanting to sound like she'd flake out and not show up.
"Cool! It's at Sunnybrook apartments, room 345. Be over by 7-8!" She pushed her glasses back up her face, covering her flat, ocean eyes. "Oh! I'm Lyra by the way! What's your name?" Sweet! That was… a lot of people. 2 from the coffee shop, plus some of Lyra's friends and friends of friends and whoever the people brought along. Not bad.
Calix got up to the counter and order a coffee then sat down at a table and slowly drank it thinking of what he was going to do for the rest of the day. He decided he would probably go back to his apartment and do nothing for the rest of the day. He kept drinking his coffee thinking random thoughts.

"I'm Vanca, and uh yeah see you then." Vanca gave another small awkward smile. meet new people, make friends. easier said then done.
"See ya!" Lyra cheered. She scooted back to her table, sipping on her drink and scanning the cafe for new people to talk with. She laughed a little to herself. When had everyone else become a sidequest?
He sipped his coffee then decided to go on his phone. Nothing. There was nothing. He sighed then kept drinking his coffee.

Cyprus continued to watch the other boy for a few moments until he looked down, drawing his attention back towards his coffee. Maybe he would see them at the party? He shrugged faintly to himself, humming in thought as he occasionally glanced up towards the boy a few times.

Vanca sipped her coffee deep in though. Wondering who else would be at the party, if she'd make any new friends. If anyone would step on her tail, as they did when there where many people in a crowded room.
Calix finished his coffee then stood up.
Maybe going home now would be a good idea. Or maybe go to a store he thought as he went to throw away his cup.

Appearance: Short cropped, dark dirty blonde hair with small braids tossed in. She occasionally will wear a ribbon to hold back her bangs. Crystal blue eyes with flecks of silver scattered in them. She has light freckles dotting her nose and a bit of her cheeks. Her ears and tail are the same color as her hair and are difficult to hide. She's fairly short, around 5'3.
Usual Clothing: She often wears a tannish-brown military style jacket along with a solid color tee shirt that will either be a red or a white along with dark colored jeans and brown boots reaching about halfway up the calf.
Personality: She often acts more serious than the average neko, but is usually high spirited and kind hearted.

Lyra watched a boy go to leave the store and decided that she should ask im to go to the party. There was no reason not to. "Hey, you!" She shouted, jogging up to him with a wide smile on her face. "What's up? Willing to go to a monster party?"
He turned and looked at the girl, "um sure?" He said questioningly accepting the strange invitation from a stranger. He just looked at her after answering her.
"Great!!" Lyra cheered. "It's at Sunnybrook apartments, room 345. Starts at 7ish." She realized that she hadn't introduced herself and threw out a hand for him to shake. She really needed to get better at meeting new people. "I'm Lyra by the way!"
He nodded then shook her hand "I'm Calix" he said to her then started to walk away and thought about what to do for the rest of the day until around 7 o'clock. He had no idea.
"Nice to meet you!" Lyra shouted, waving obnoxiously. Once the guy was out of sight she sat down at her table again, nursing her cocoa. She gave the cafe 15 more minutes to attract interesting people before she split and began prepping her place for a party. She'd need some beer, vodka, maybe drugs? Acid was always a hoot at parties. But her landlord had begun sniffing around her place, so she decided to put those plans on hold.
Calix walked down the street to his apartment building. Walked up the stairs to his apartment. once inside he decided that he was going to play some video games.

Vanca left the cafe after about an hour and went home. She milled around her apartment for sometime while she waited for the party to start.
