"Apart from your cat waking me up." Liam said, poking her.

"In my defense, I do not control her!" Kasey laughed quietly.

"She's still your cat!" Liam protested.

"Yeah, but I don't control her!" Kasey said with a roll of her eyes. "You like her, though, and you know it."

"Do I though? Do I really?" Liam teased.

"You like me, therefore, you like her," Kasey laughed. "We come together; we're a package deal."

(Lilah?)

Liam groaned over dramatically, "Oh how wonderful for me."

(Whoops!)

"Hey, I take you and Mortem together!" Kasey teased.

"Yeah, but at least Mortem doesn't wake you up in the middle of the night!" Liam replied.

"She's a kitten; she's playful," Kasey said with a shrug. "Plus, you are the one who was saying she was going to live up to her name."

"And she is definitely doing that. But I don't see how that has anything to do with it." Liam muttered, rolling onto his stomach.

"Because if you hadn't said it, she might not have done so," Kasey clarified as she rolled onto her back. She tilted her head to look at Liam, just studying him.

"Fine… blame this all on me, see if I care…" Liam mumbled into the pillow, letting out a breath.

"You're the one complaining about your girlfriend's kitten," Kasey chuckled, kissing his head.

“Because she’s annoying. Cute but annoying.” Liam muttered.

"Yeah, yeah, I know…" Kasey sighed in agreement.

Liam sighed and draped an arm over Kasey’s middle, drawing her closer slightly.

Kasey turned onto her side and snuggled closer to him. "I guess we're not getting up any time soon."

“You got that right.” Liam muttered, turning his head to the side to look at her, only for his hair to fall in front of his face.

Kasey smiled and reached over to brush the hair out of his eyes. "Hey there."

“Hey. Good to see you again.” Liam smiled with a small laugh.

"Yeah, you too," Kasey said, laughing with him a bit. She ran her fingers through his hair a couple of times before pulling her hand away. "What do you want for breakfast?"

“I don’t know. But you touching my hair like that felt nice…” Liam mumbled, letting out a small breath.

Kasey chuckled lightly and buried her hand in his hair again. "Okay, then…"

“Is that like a guy thing? That they like it when girls play with their hair?” Liam closed his eyes and smiled softly.

"It might be a couples thing," Kasey said with a soft smile. "I kinda like it when you play with my hair."

“Then it definitely might be a couples thing…” Liam let out a content sigh and peaked an eye open.

Kasey giggled a bit and kissed his nose. "It totally is."

Liam smiled a little at the kiss, “I wonder if Harper and Maddi would feel the same.”

"I bet they would. If they didn't, I'd be completely surprised," Kasey chuckled, snuggling closer to him.
