Liam smile back at her, "I know…." He sighed, "Maybe I should try for a degree in something… I doubt this music thing will get me anywhere."

“What do you think you’d go for?” Kasey asked, leaning forward slightly.

Liam shrugged a shoulder and frowned in thought, "I don't know…"

“Well… What do you enjoy doing besides music? I’m sure you get could a degree in something like that,” Kasey suggested. “Or you could go for business.”

Liam crinkled his nose and shook his head, "Business? No way. I;ll think about it, maybe that'll be my job for tomorrow."

“Yeah, you might want to do that,” Kasey chuckled. “But I’m not sure you really need a degree.”

"Why do you say that?" Liam cocked his head to the side.

Kasey shrugged. "I mean, a lot of people get through life without a degree. And your music is really good…"

Liam blushed a little, "My music isn't that good…"

"You always say that, and I always argue that it is that good. Babe, you're a great musician," Kasey said softly.

Liam opened his mouth to respond but decided against it. He opened his mouth again but at that moment the brownies arrived, "Thank-you."

Kasey's eyes lit up at the sight of the dessert, and she grinned as she grabbed a fork. "Mm… This looks so good…"

(Just wanted to let you know that I'm flying to England tonight so I won't be active for like a day or so)
Liam cracked a smile and grabbed his own fork, "I'm sure it'll taste good, too)

Kasey chuckled as she dug into the brownie. She hummed as she ate it. "This is even better than the burger…"

Liam laughed a little, "I prefer the burger."

(May I ask what you're going for?)

"But this is chocolate! And ice cream! And… chocolate!" Kasey exclaimed, grinning as she continued to eat the dessert.

(Christmas/New Year, I'm spending time with my extended family)

Liam chuckled, "So? You have a sweet tooth and I don't!"

(Oh, cool! All my family lives within an hour of me. Lol. Well… Except for my stepdad’s family, who live about 8 hours away…)

“You are strange, Liam,” Kasey chuckled, shaking her head in amusement.

(Aha, lucky. I have to travel over thirty hours to see any of my family that isn’t my mum, dad and lil sis)

Liam raised an amused eyebrow, “Am I now? Just because I’m not that fond of sweets?”

(Oof. Wow. Did you used to live in England, then?)

“Well, there are other reasons, but I like you because of them,” Kasey said with a grin.

(Also, it’s totally weird to have you on at this time of the day. Lol.)

(Aha, yeah, same for me too. And no, I was born and raised in Aus but my parents are both brits)

Liam chuckled, “And what might these other reasons be?”

(Lol. Sounds cool! I’m American through and through. ;P)

“That’s for me to know and you to wonder about for the rest of eternity,” Kasey chuckled, winking at him playfully.

Liam rolled his eyes with a small laugh, “Fine fine, whatever you say Miss.” He took a bite of the brownie.

(Cool, cool!)

Kasey giggled and took a bite. “You know you love me!”

Liam cocked his head in fake thought, “Do I really though?”

“I mean, you’d better. We’ll be living together for the foreseeable future,” Kasey said, raising her eyebrows at him.

Liam nodded, “True…” He ‘thought’ for a few more moments, “Good thing I do love you then.”

Kasey playfully rolled her eyes, smiling over at him. “Yes, it is a good thing. And it’s a good thing I love you, too.”

“Mhm, otherwise I wouldn’t buy you anymore brownies.” Liam grinned.

“Oh, well then it’s a very good thing I love you! I don’t know what I’d do without brownies!” Kasey said dramatically, giggling at herself.
