Cameron giggled like a small girl. “It wasn’t, really.”
Cameron giggled like a small girl. “It wasn’t, really.”
Lilah rolled her eyes at him with a smile, muttering "Dork," under her breath.
Cameron sighed faintly and shook his head. He took a chip, dipped it in the queso and salsa both and popped it into his mouth.
"Did you just…? Why? Why would you do that?" Lilah questioned, staring at him incredulously.
Cameron rolled his eyes again and ignored her. He finished his mouthful, took a sip of his drink and said, “Who is it going to hurt? You try it.”
"Queso and salsa go separate," Lilah grumbled, picking up a chip and dipping it in the melted cheese.
Cameron looked her straight in the eye and mixed the pair before popping it into his mouth.
Lilah gasped at him and grabbed the queso, pulling it close to herself protectively. "This is mine, now. You've lost the right to have it."
(Any chance you're up for joining a romance RP?)
(Sure. Where is it, who joined it?)
Cameron chuckled gently. “What? It’s good!”
(I started it. It's called "Anyone Up For Some Fluffy Romance?" or something like that… We need two guys and a girl, but I'll just fill whatever gap is left.)
"Mmhm…" Lilah hummed disbelievingly as she ate another queso-dipped chip.
(Sure I’ll join. Can we bring back the Fairytale Rewrite RP?)
Cameron rolled his eyes. “It is!”
(Oh. Right. I forgot about that… If it doesn't show up under my Unread stuff, I don't really think about it. Oops.)
"You do you, love," Lilah said, dipping another chip with a smile.
(O~0 I’ll find it and bring it back, then! I really loved the idea.)
Cameron rolled his eyes. “I can’t anymore because you took the queso.”
(Awesome, thanks! :3)
Lilah grinned and giggled a bit. "Yup! Hey, when do you think our food will get here?"
Cameron gave her a look and stretched across the table to dip at the queso. He returned to dip it in the salsa.
“Never,” He replied sarcastically before popping the chip into his mouth.
"Okay, wow…" Lilah gaped at him, feigning offense.
Cameron giggled. “Right under your nose.”
"Seriously. That wasn't very nice of you," Lilah pouted, sticking her bottom lip out.
Cameron booped her nose. “I’m not nice.”
"No, you're not," Lilah grumbled because of the nose boop.
Cameron rolled his eyes slightly for the third time and popped another plain chip in his mouth. They waited in silence until the food came five mintutes later.
Lilah thanked the waiter with her signature polite smile and picked up her fork. She glanced across the table at Cameron, worry hiding behind her eyes.
"You know I was just teasing you, right?" asked quietly.
Cameron nodded before plucking up a fork and moving the pieces of shrimp in the orangish sauce. He mixed in his potatoes, too.
Lilah frowned and looked down at her plate, picking at her food. She sighed and took a tiny bite of the enchilada.
Cameron started to eat quietly, stirring up the sauce occasionally. He also wiped at his mouth, which was just a habit forced into him.
(People are doing fireworks… It's October… sigh)
Lilah was mentally kicking herself for seemingly going too far. She hated this, hated fighting. She just wanted to smile and laugh with him like they usually did.
(Ughghfjgjrkelrjfgei American pride go awyaaaaaaaawwwyyyyyy)
Cameron finished rather fast and requested the check, along with more nachos for his wait for her to finish.
(They stopped, now… Sometimes I really hate the cities.)
Lilah ate slowly, only half done when Cameron finished. Maybe she should get it to go?
(Ugh. Bless thee.)
Cameron smiled and thanked the waiter, sticking his card into the little pocket. He started on the nachos and salsa quietly.
(grimaces)
"I hate this," Lilah suddenly said softly after the waiter had left. She continued to stare down at her food, unable to meet Cameron's eyes.
