"Lily, when did you get so big? I remember when you were just a puppy! A little, bitty puppy," Lilah cooed to the dog with a light laugh.

Lily barked and wiggled towards Lilah, licking for her face. Cameron entered the room, holding Lilac.

Lilah chuckled and petted Lily behind the ears, looking up as Cameron walked in with Lilac.

"You know, she can still walk. She just would have needed help getting up onto the bed," Lilah teased him with a grin.

Lily licked Lilah’s face energetically as Cameron set Lilac carefully down on the bed.
“Yeah, I know. I just wanted to carry the old girl.” He stroked the dog’s back.

(Agh, I love weddings… I just watched one and it was so cute!)

Lilah laughed and pushed Lily away gently, sitting up in the bed. "I'm sure she appreciates the gesture."

Lilac barked and wagged her tail as if I'm agreement.

(You went to one?)

Cameron smiled and sat on the bed, still rubbing Lilac’s back. “She’d better. She is very heavy.” He lifted her fine, though.

(No, it was a show about a family – a real one – and that was one of the episodes.)

"She might be heavy, but it's obviously no problem for you," Lilah said with a grin. She patted the bed next to her as she laid down. "Come. Cuddles."

(Awwww)

Cameron laid down and stretched out. “You were talking to me, right?” He looked at her after stretching.

(It was so stinking cute! :3)

"No, I was talking to the dogs," Lilah joked sarcastically. "Yes, love, I was talking to you."

Cameron laughed and stuck out his arms. “C’mere then.”

Lilah grinned and snuggled into his arms, wrapping her own around him. She buried her face in his neck with a contented sigh.

"I'm so glad I'm going to marry you," she said softly.

Cameron smiled and hugged her closer. “I’m glad I am too.” He paused before asking, “Do you think we’ll have kids?”

"Do you want kids?" Lilah asked softly, moving to look up at him. "I mean, I do, but it's kind of half up to you…"

Cameron leaned their foreheads together. “I think it’d be good for us.” He smiled. “So yes. I do want kids.”

"Okay. Kids. We'll have kids, then," Lilah said with a grin. "Hm… Do you want a boy or girl first? Personally, I want a girl."

Cameron grinned his crooked grin. “A girl? First? How many kids should we have?”

"Hey, you said kids, plural, before I did!" Lilah laughed lightly. "And I want at least two."

Cameron chuckled. “I think at least two would be okay. A girl… hmmm… would we name her Rose?” A sly grin worked its way on his face.

"Only if we name our boy Tobias," Lilah chuckled, kissing him gently. "I love you."

Cameron chuckled too and kissed her back. “I love you too. The chances of us having two separate genders are kinda… not on our side. It just depends on..y’know. Our genes ‘n stuff.” He decided to stop talking.

"I know, but it's still a nice thought," Lilah hummed happily.

Cameron smiled a bit. “It would be nice. I hope we get away with it.”

"Me, too," Lilah sighed, smiling at him. She rested her forehead against his. "You, me, Rose, and Tobias… Family. I can hardly wait."

Cameron smiled and nodded. “I know. It’ll be wonderful. Just all of us. Our own DNA. In little kids. That’s…”

"Incredible," Lilah finished for him softly, letting out a light giggle before kissing him again.

Cameron laughed gently with her and kissed her back. “That’s the word.”

"Mm, cuddle time is nice," Lilah murmured with a smile.

Cameron nodded and brushed his nose against her face. “It is nice.”

"We should have cuddle time more often," Lilah sighed happily.

Cameron nodded happily. “I agree. It’s good for our relationship, too.”
