Alexa looked up at Justin and saw that he wasn't moving. "Alone, please?"

"No" Paris said. Her hand tightened around Justins. "Whatever you have to say to me you can say to him too."

"Okay, well, I wanted to tell you that I missed you and about the real reason that we broke-up." She averted her eyes from Paris and looked to her shoes.

“oh she misses me. she broke my heart and comes back months later to tell me she misses me. whatever. carry on.” she said, a little bite on the ends of her words because all these old wounds started to tear open again.

Alexa was taken aback by the harsh words. "Okay, then." She looked to the right before walking away, back to her lunch table.

Paris turned around into justins chest and he hugged her and held her close.
"Why cant she just leave me alone. shes already done enough damage." she said, voice cracking as she was about to cry.
"I know, I know. Just relax. its okay, you're safe. i've got you." he said, stroking her hair with one hand while the other was still tightly wrapped around her waist.

Alexa watched as Paris hugged Justin and was most likely talking about her. She put her head in her arms at the lunch table and tried to think about anything other that her.

Paris started crying and Justin just scooped her up like a child and carried her to the lunch table. She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms tightened around his upper arms. She cried into his shoulder and he supported her under her thighs. One of their friends kicked a chair out and he sat down. She shifted a little and continued crying while sitting on his lap. He stroked her hair and held her tight to him. He knew exactly how to comfort her. Her best friend Madylin rubbed her back lightly as she ate her own food, slowly loosing her want to eat because she ated seeing paris like this.

When Alexa raised her head again, she saw Paris getting all cuddled up in Justin's lap so she decided to leave the lunch room. She went out into the hallway and sat by the lockers and put her head in her hands. She knew that Paris would definitely not take her back. Her friend Raven found her alone by the lockers and decided to put a comforting hand on her shoulders, knowing that she didn't like to be asked if she was fine when she clearly wasn't. "She hates me." Alexa sniffled to her best friend. "Yea, she does." Raven replied saying the blunt truth, knowing Alexa hated beating around the bush. "You can come over to my house today and we can watch movies and play video games." Raven suggested after a while. "Then maybe you can try one last time to talk to Paris and if she still despises you, we will get you another girl." Alexa nodded and lifted her head up. Allowing her friend to help her up.

Paris eventually stopped crying but was still had very puffy red eyes, of course. her makeup was very smeared along with the mascara that had run down her face. She was still in Justins lap but facing the rest of the group. Madylin and one of the other girls took her hands and took her out to the bathroom to get cleaned up. she splashed water in her face and let Madylin do her magic to fix her make up. Karie, the other friend, brushed out her curls and then fixed her hair a little bit so she had half of her hair hanging down and the top half up in a little bun. Madylin applied the last of the mascara and winged eyeliner and then they all walked out of the bathroom together.

Alexa and Raven decided to skip the rest of school and go home. Alexa got in her Hennessy Venom Gt, which she was happy that she could drive now, and drove to Raven's house. When they got inside, they immediately went for the ice cream buckets and went to Raven's room. She had a large flat screen TV on the wall, perfect for sleepover movies. She changed into her clothes that she kept there and began to watch The Meg with her. She occasionally glanced at her phone, debating whether or not to text Paris but after what happened she went against it.

Justin had traded the hoodie Paris had with her for the one he had in his back pack and had on the one Paris had when they arrived back at the lunch table.
"D*mn pretty lady. Hope you dont mind i switched you hoodies. I know you like it better when they smell more like me and less like you." he said with a smile, welcoming her back onto his lap. she sat down and the girls sat back in their seats. soon the lunch bell rang and they carried on their day. when the end of the day arrived paris was glad for it to be friday and walked out of school much happier than before, justins hand in hers and walking towards his car since he insisted on driving her everyday.

Raven went downstairs to get them drinks and that's when Alexa tried to text Paris.

AA: I know you're mad at me but can we really talk or you don't want to talk to me again. If so, I'll leave you alone and never bother you again.

Alexa knew it was bold but she had to do something somehow. When Raven came back she accepted the drink. "When are your parents coming back?" She asked Raven. "Not until next week, why?" Raven sat back down on the couch in her room. "I wanna throw a party here, maybe I'll feel better." Raven agreed and decided to call Andy(the guy who does things for her quickly), to set up the party. "Who do you want to invite?" Raven asked. "Most people in the school that either I don't hate or don't hate me." Maybe even Paris.

Paris' phone buzzed in the hoodie pocket as she slid into the passenger seat of justins car.
PA: Talk about what exactly? How you broke me? sure if thats what you want to talk about.
She didnt mean to come off sharp like that, she wanted to talk to Alexa but she was also still bruised and did think she could handle more of that pain.

AA: I didn't break up with you for no reason.

Alexa decided that she didn't need to add more to that. If Paris didn't want more information then she got the memo, but if she did, maybe they would at least have a chance at becoming friends again. Andy had already came by with food, drinks, and decoration. "I'm going to invite most of the people in our grade that we know. I'll send them all a text." Raven told her. Alexa heard the doorbell ring of the first few people coming for the party. It was some kids that she knew from middle school so she welcomed them in.

PA: no really? i thought you just pulled it out of a hat to do for fun. Why then?

Paris relaxed out on her couch with justin when she got home and they decided to watch High School Musical because they're still 5 year olds, and they wanted to watch a throwback.

AA: Because if we stayed together, you would be dead. There was someone at the time targeting me and everyone I cared for.

Alex decided to get another soda as more kids came into Raven's house for the party. They decided to open the pool house and the pool for them and brought some of the food there too.

PA: wait what?

Paris excused her self and half ran to the bathroom. she closed and locked the door and sat and waited on the floor for Alexas response. 'how do you say that so calmly and like its a normal thing over text like that?' She thought, staring down at her phone.

AA: Well, it's kind of like a pretty little liars debacle. Someone was jealous of me a few months ago and managed to kill my baby brother. They're in jail now for a life sentence but you would've been next if it wasn't for me.

Raven met Alexa downstairs and made sure she was alright before asking her to help take the pool cover off.

PA: oh, um. well then.
Paris wasnt sure what to do next. she sat on the floor and started bawling.

AA: That's why I wanted to talk in person because… it's a lot to take in but I guess you don't really even care anyways. You have Justin now and I'm happy for you.

Alexa lied a bit on the last part with Justin but she was happy that Paris was happy. She continued on with the party as more people from the school came into the pool house.

PA: wdym i have Justin? Were just friends…

Paris knew it looked like they were together. Justin was just her best friend. Justin only did it to help Paris. Her "revenge" as she liked to call it. she stared at her blurry phone as Justin came in and sat on the floor next to her. He heard her crying and came to make sure she was okay.

AA: Well it I did think it was that at first and then all the lap-sitting just changed my thoughts a bit.

Alexa changed into her two-piece and sat by the edge of the pool, accepting drinks from her friend. She waved to other people from her school, loving how her friend was helping her with her self-care.

PA: well i get that. but hes just my best friend. We're close. like brother and sister.

Paris choked out the word she wanted and justin typed them for her. she couldnt stop crying and she didnt know why. so they sat on the floor together, her crying him holding her tight.
