People started running in every direction, knocking kids over and screaming over top one another. Charlotte climbed up onto a bin and screamed at them:
"EVERYONE STAND STILL!" She repeated this until everyone went quiet. "You don't know me, I know, but I trust you can tell there is an imminent danger. Everyone who can, take as many people as possible and drive out of the plane's range. Those who have no cars, stay behind and we'll figure something out."
To her immense surprise, everyone listened. People started moving out, and before long the crowd was half gone. All that were left were younger couples, kids, babysitters with toddlers and older people. Charlotte examined the group.
"OK, I guess all of you don't have a car?" A murmur of assent. She paused to think, and looked back up the street where she could see Victoria's group gathered. She looked back at her own group; it wasn't very big.
"We're going to meet up with the group over there. Follow." She stepped down from the bin and they all headed over to Victoria. "How's it going?"

[I'm out. I won't be back until Friday, but feel free to continue (I worked ahead on school because it's my birthday tomorrow, and the only time I'm near a computer is when I do my classes). God bless!]

“Um. A bit nervous, to be honest…. I hope I got everybody,” Victoria murmured. To the ever-growing crowd, she said in her most teacher-y voice ever, “Hey! We need to get away from possible debris! Grab your belongings, and/or small children, and follow me.”

Charlotte turned to her group and gestured for them to follow Victoria's. "Socialize! We'll need all the help we can get." They headed for the end of the street. "Where'd Corban go?"

Corban, breathless as he runs up to the girls, says. "I'm here." Not two seconds later the plan makes impact.

Metal screeches upon pavement as it grazes the road and several houses.

There is no explosion. No power is the explanation Corban's mind gives him as he numbly watches with his mouth open wide the settling crash.

Everyone's dead. Corban has always hated it when his own mind annoyingly states the obvious.

"And every other plane around the world that was flying moments ago…" Brandon thought aloud. Unable to move, he watched as his new friends rushed to help others. He tried to calculate the amount of death that just occurred. It was too overwhelming. Like the Black Plague just hit in an instant, a sizable fraction of the population dead.

(guys, I found a website https://www.flightradar24.com that tracks "180,000+ flights, from 1,200+ airlines, flying to or from 4,000+ airports around the world in real time" I thought it was cool to check out if you want to get an idea of the mass destruction)
