Immediately, Indra takes out his phone. He slips off a glove, and starts to punch out a text message. As soon as he puts it away, and slips his glove back on, his ringtone (Centuries - Fall Out Boi) starts up. He grins, snapping out his phone and putting it to his ear, mouthing a quick "Sorry." to the bookkeeper.

Carrio gestured outside. “Phone calls outside, please.” He whispered this before turning back to his precious books.

"I'm going." He assured, leaving the library temporarily. His boss called to ensure that he had really asked to quit.
He assured.
"We'll send you your last check." The guy said, flatly. Indra felt the same way. He was actually rather fed up with the assholes thst frequented his workplace, and while his co-workers were nothing to scoff at, to him, none were very notable.
He headed back in.
"That was brief." He acknowledged.

Carrio looked back at him. “Then if you’re willing I can walk you through today and notify the Board. They’ll have your checks in rolling soon.”

Carrio turned to Indra. “I’m Carrio. I’ll be your superattendant and advisor.” He stuck out his hand for the other to shake.

For a skinny person, Carrio had a firm, powerful grip. “Right. Now you probably know how libraries are sorted out into their fiction sections, unfortunately, not a lot of people know about the non-fiction. So we’ll run through that once more…” Carrio lead the other through the DDS and gave him a sweep of the copying machine, a go at the computer, and dusting of the books.

“We usually run newbies 8:30 to 5.” Carrio pocketed the back room’s keys again with a swift movement.

"Hey," Indra suggested. "What do you say we go get a cup of Joe after this?" He finished. Indra (This time at least.) wasn't flirting, as he was earlier, and instead was making a legitimate suggestion, despite the fact that Carrio didn't look like the type of guy to open up. But then again, neither did he.

Carrio gave a slight shrug. “My shift ends at ten. You could wait here with me until then.” Exactly proving Indra’s point with reluctance to open up.

Indra's bike roared into the lot. He stepped off, taking off his helmet and letting down the stand before walking in. This was the place, Lenon's Place, a professional but somewhat hipster café. He walked in the door, and took a seat at the nearest table.

Carrio drove his little old Ford to the cafe, parked and got out of the car. He walked into the cafe, inhaled the coffee laden air. He loved cafes, it was his facorite place to read. He spotted Indra and walked over.
“Hi there.”

Carrio set his work bag down with a look at the line. “A blueberry muffin with a medium cappuchino, please.” He pulled out his wallet and handed the other some cash.

"Sounds legit." Indra said. "You sit here and rest your pretty little head." He jested.bindra always told terrible jokes, suffice to say that often they were funny in spite of this.

Carrio rolled his eyes and sat down, pocketing his wallet again. He’s just kidding. He can’t be attracted to me…

Indra received their stuff after waiting a few minutes in line.
"Here you go." He said, dishing everything out to Carrio. He took his own, an espresso and doughnuts, and sat down. "So, if we're gonna be working with eachother, why don't we get to know eachother?" Indra suggested.

Carrio opened up the coffee and took a handful of sugar packets from a table nearby.
“Sure. What do you want to know?”
