She looked to the driveway to see that her mother's car was gone, therefore, so was she. "Yeah." She got unbuckled and jumped out the car, heading for inside before her mother could come back.

Red walked into her house, careful just in case if her mother was here. She didn't seem to be. She walked into her room, packed a few things in a backpack, and walked back out the front door. "Okay, we're good."

"Okay. Hopefully my place won't seem like too much of a dump to you." Alton squared his shoulders and began driving again.

"I'm sure it's fine." Her house was somewhat nice, it was just looks though. If you looked, you'd see there were no pictures of Red on the wall, no indication that she even existed. Instead, white walls and floors where her mother would only sometimes let her step foot on. "I'm just glad to have somewhere for a few days."

"Well, it's no trouble to me." Alton pulled into the suburban house, shutting of the car and grabbing the keys.

"It's a little cluttered…I hope you don't mind…" Alton admitted, opening the door for her.

"Ummm…we have a guest room. Over here." Alton shut the door and led her to the guest room, once again opening the door for her. "Is it okay?"

"Fancyyy" she cooed as the fresh scent of bread wafted through the tiny, neatly decorated shop

"Very, I love love love it! Try the banana bread, its like friggin SUNLIGHT. in BREAD form" She giggles

"It's great, thank you." And then she did something she hadn't done for a long time. She smiled. "Thanks again."

"Good. I'll leave so you can get settled…will you be alright with takeout? We can get something else if you want." Alton smiled back, relieved.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

"Takeout's fine, but I don't really need anything." She could feel her stomach yelling at her not to say that, but her stubborn head wouldn't allow her not to. "Thanks though."

"Alright!" she hummed, walking up to the counter

(sorry sorry i was asleep and didn't see it)

Moira follows her to the counter. "I'll have a banana bread and a small coffee"

Red sighed. "Why not?" She shrugged. "But I'll pay, you've already done enough."

"Are you sure?" Alton's eyebrows creased. "I'd be happy to pay if you're not sure…"

Deleted user

"Alright…thank you." Alton smiled at took the bills, turning behind him one more time before heading out. "Call me if you need anything, my number's on the fridge."

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

"Okay, thanks." Red watched as he left, heading into the room as he did. She sighed. Don't get too comfortable… She began to unpack only the things she would need, everything else ready to leave when she was.

As Alton drove off into what was quickly becoming dusk, he thought to himself what this might lead to. He'd helped other people in the past when they needed it, some of them being girls, and one or two of them had grown into something more - but then they'd been discarded as nothing but trash when the girls took their leave.
Alton sighed to himself, pulling into the restaurant. You're fooled too easily, he thought to himself.

Red sat down on the bed in wait. It all struck her as odd how he seemed to be so willing to help a complete stranger. She would have though critically about it but he seemed to have a trustworthy aura.

After picking up the food, Alton began the drive home. Why do you do this? He asked himself. He knew the answer. People go through tough times - they can't always fare on their own. I help them. Sometimes, the answer disgusted him, and sometimes, he praised himself for it.

@Every_Fandom_Ever_

It wasn't only trustworthiness she saw in him, there was something soft and loving about him, a willingness to help. It was all in his eyes. Red stood and moved to the other side of the room to find the window where the sky seemed to be falling slowly into a colored darkness.

Alton pulled into the driveway, shutting off the car and walking into the house, dumping the food onto the coffee table. "Red?" He called.
