(Ooo tell me about it. It’ll help)
Cameron smiled and pecked her nose gently. “Sounds wonderful. There should be one coming up, I saw a sign.”

(So I woke up and could barely stay awake, and then I got to work and had to talk to my manager about one of the days I was scheduled this week, which actually went really well. But then, later in the day, people were confusing me with what I was supposed to do, and I got really frustrated and just kinda wanted to cry. And then I got home, and after dinner and stuff, I did math. I didn't understand something, but I knew that I knew how to do it, so I was incredibly frustrated with that, and I actually did cry. And then now, I can't find the ring my great grandma gave me for my 16th birthday and it's really special to me, and I have no idea where it is.
So yeah.)
Lilah crinkled her nose at the kiss but smiled anyway.
"Great! But you should pay attention to driving and not kissing me," she chuckled.
(Oh no, I’m sorry! I hope you find your ring soon!)
Cameron touched her nose with his and looked back out the window.
“Indeed, indeed.”
(Thanks. I really do, too… All that I know is that it's somewhere in my house… On the main floor.)
Lilah choked back what might have been a giggle, covering it with a cough as she leaned back on her seat. She smiled and brought her knees up to her chest, and she looked out the window as she hugged them.
(At least you know that. Good luck.)
Cameron looked at her. “You alright over there? Your cough sounded rather off.”
"I'm good!" Lilah chirped, turning to grin at him for a moment before looking back out the window.
Cameron rolled his eyes and adjusted his grip on the wheel. He soon turned into a rest area and parked.
Lilah opened the door and stepped out, stretching her arms above her head. After she'd stretched for a bit, she walked back over to the car.
"Should we let the dogs out?"
Cameron rose out of the car and stretched with a yawn.
“Yes we should,” he said after his wide yawn.
"'Kay," Lilah said as she moved to the back door. She opened it and was greeted by barking, wagging, and face-licking. She laughed and tried to push her dog away. "Lilac, stop!"
Cameron walked over, smiling happily. “What’s going on back here, Li-” He was cut off with a flurry of little paws, barks and yips. Lily perched on his chest, licking his face and rendering speechless.
Lilah laughed as Cameron was attacked with doggy kisses as well, and she finally got Lilac to stop licking her.
"Okay, okay! Let's get you girls out of here so you can run off some of that energy," she laughed.
Cameron grabbed the puppy and held her out. “That’s a wonderful idea. We shpuld feed them first, though.”
"Sure. Lilac's food is in the back. Where's Lily's?" Lilah asked, clipping a leash onto Lilac's collar.
Cameron pulled his duffle bag from the trunk. “It’s in here, with her leash…”
Lilah let Lilac hop down and led her over to the back of the car.
"Should we feed them while we eat, or do you think we should feed them first?" she asked as she grabbed a dish.
“Let’s just feed them first, so they’re not begging us for more while we eat.” He smiled and pulled out Lily’s leash and food.
"All right," Lilah agreed with a chuckle as she set the dish down and dig out Lilac's food. "That's probably a good idea."
Cameron plopped down Lily’s little bowl in thr grass and scooped out a few cups of food.
“There you go, Lily.” He stroked her back gently as the pupper ran over to eat.
Lilah scooped some food into Lilac's dish and kept hold of her leash as she ate so that she couldn't try to run for it. With a sigh, she leaned against the car, then turned to smile at Cameron.
Cameron kept a careful eye on Lily, sitting next to her. He had pulled out a brush from his bag and was brushing the puppy’s long fur, humming gently.
Lilah started humming something as she waited for Lilac to finish eating, bouncing on her toes a bit.
Lily finished her food quickly and laid down at Cameron’s feet. Cameron gave a rumbly laugh and continhed running the brush through her soft fur
As soon as Lilac was finished, she looked up at Lilah with her big, brown eyes.
"No, you're done for now," Lilah chuckled as she put the dish away. "If you eat any more, you'll get fat!"
Cameron lifted up the bowl once he finished.
“You finished your food! Good girl…” He stroked her head gently. “Good girl.
"I'm going to go fill Lilac's water dish. Do you want me to get some for Lily?" Lilah asked, looking over at Cameron.
Cameron rose. “Yes, but I’ll just come with you.” He walked over to her, with Lily and her bowl.
"Oh, okay!" Lilah chirped with a smile as she started to head toward the building. "But we'll have to leave the dogs outside."
“Awww Lily. We’ll have to keep you outside!”
Lily barked unhappily.
"Lilac will keep you company, won't you, girl?" Lilah said, looking down at the dog. Lilac woofed and wagged her tail, her tongue hanging out of her mouth.
