"Um… I'm not sure," Lilah murmured, her blush now deepening.

Cameron gave a husky laugh. “It’s not because of me, is it?”

"No…" Lilah mumbled, avoiding his gaze.

Cameron nuzzled her cheek. His whiskers tickled her neck. “Yeeess…”

"Okay, fine… So maybe it is," Lilah murmured, still not catching his eye.

“How come? We’ve been dating for two years…?” He laughed gently against her, half-closing his eyes.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I'm used to you just taking your shirt off without a warning," Lilah admitted, chewing on her lip.

Cameron laughed gently. “I’m sorry, then. I’ll have to disregard the fact you’ve seen me do so many times.”

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," Lilah muttered, still blushing.

Cameron kissed her cheek again. “Two years. That’s a long time.”

"It is a long time," Lilah agreed softly, nuzzling his cheek before kissing it.

“Very long time. Remember our first picnic? We’ve gotten so far from that…”

"Oh, gosh… That was so long ago!" Lilah laughed. "I don't think I'll ever forget it, though…"

Cameron laughed. “It was so awkward. Now we’re here with you giggling at my stubble and blushing cuz I took off my shirt.”

"Oh, hush," Lilah laughed, whapping him in the chest. "Can we drop the blushing talk?"

Cameron laughed too. “What? I find it cute that you still blush!”

"Shh…" Lilah crinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out at him.

Cameron stuck his tongue out too and booped her nose. “You’re cute!”

"Nooooo! Stahhhp!" Lilah groaned, pulling away to hide her face on her arms.

Cameron laughed and pulled her into his chest. “Never! I’ll never stop calling you cute!”

"Ugh… You're still impossible even after two years!" Lilah laughed, wrapping her arms around him.

Cameron laughed with her. “I will be for twenty, fifty, sixty years. Or at least until you accept the fact that you are the cutest thing alive.”

"I thought that was Lily?" Lilah joked with a giggle.

“No, she’s a close second. You’re the first.” He peppered her face in kisses.

"Stahhhp itttt!" Lilah laughed, taking his cheeks in her hands.

Cameron wiggled against her hands. “You’ve captured me in your soft hands.”

"I know. It was one of the only ways I could think of to get you to stop," Lilah laughed.

Cameron tried to reach beyond her hands. He couldn’t. “It was very smart of you.”

"I'm aware," Lilah laughed, pecking his lips.

Cameron whined dog-like. “I miss dusting your face in kisses already.”
