Keri giggled "Nope i'm not, but i can act like it," she tried to kick his chair but ended up hitting his foot instead.

" Owww. That hurt!" He snapped and kicked her leg.

Elijah immediately reached out, placing a hand on Chase's shoulder gently. "Hey, that's fine! We can leave if you want. We can get ice cream or something. My friend works at a really great place around the corner. Well, "friend" is a loose term, but still. It's a great place if you ignore her."

"Ow, now that actually hurt Cayden!" Keri pulled her leg up and rubbed where he had kicked it, keeping her voice normal and trying not to kick him back. Keri looked at him "ok, well that's enough of that." she looked down at the table and didn't look back up for quite a while.

LUKE saw 2 boys outside and was bored so walked outside to leave and bumped into both of them on purpose but playing it as an accedent. " Oh dear im so so sorry! I nev-" He cut himself off and looked at both of them. He said hoping to actually make a good impression

“I- I wouldn’t mind going somewhere else…” Chase said quietly, inching closer to Elijah once the other put his hand on Chase’s shoulder. Just the simple touch was comforting. I just don’t want Kemp and Jacob to know where I am, just to have a little time off… “But only if you want to go too,” He quickly added shyly, wringing his hands.

"Of course I want to go-" Elijah was cut off by yet another person bumping into him. "Oh, um, it's fine, don't worry," he said to the stranger.

Chase jumped a little, startled by the stranger’s presence and subconsciously leaning toward Elijah as he chewed his lip. The smell of baked beans struck him, which he tried to suppress immediately. Freak, freak, freak.

Luke looked at Elijah aimlessley " Your the one i pulled the bullies off of!" Luke snapped tying to catch up

“I-“ He didn’t, Kemp and Jacob are just going to harass me more tomorrow… “They- um- they weren’t ‘bullies’ or, uh, anything like that…” Chase said quietly, inching towards Elijah more.

Luke frowned " You can talk to me love I love sticking up for people i'm like the person people go to if their getting bullied. I know i just met you, but you also just met this other fine fellow. I can go home or you can at least try to talk to me." Luke said a slight smile/frown on his face.

Chase took a step away from the stranger, voice barely more than a shy whisper, “I don’t know your name, please stop.” He was starting to get creeped out, and he slightly hid behind Elijah. He knew it was cowardice, but he didn’t want this stranger calling him ‘love’ or pretending like he knew Chase’s story, it was starting to make him uncomfortable.

Luke frowned " Fine im sorry for talking to you" Luke said with lots of sass. " I'll just get going." Luke walked away.

Keri looked up and smiled " It's not your fault , it just hurt a lot, i'm the one who accidentally kicked you first."

Cayden frowned and stood up " Im so sorry i didn't mean to hurt you. I will leave!" Cayden says walking out the door

Keri stood up after him and followed him "wait, don't go," she stopped by the door and waited to see if he would turn back around "please Cayden."

Cayden turned around and looked at her " I don't want to hurt people that was exactly what i did and if i keep it up your gonna get hurt more. I am not the type of person you want to be around." Luke said staring her in the eyes.

Keri looked down "i won't stop you if you want to leave, but meeting you was the best part of my day and i had a lot of fun talking with you." She looked back up and sighed.
