Luke was astonished and exited his dumb little brain seeing infinite since he saw what others didn't. He was indeed a human but saw much more in given areas and spaces then what usual normal people did. So therefore he just stood there looking into the infinite abyss. " Why dosen't it stop its like infinite!" Luke said still surprised
"You are seeing through my eyes, in a way. Space does not matter here, only the mind." she replied.
Luke replied with a little " Wow this is amazing." And Luke stood in there longer than anyone ever has before. Luke quenched his eyes to see bright colors in the distance and started walking into it. " So majestic."
Yvaine suddenly came up behind Luke, tackling him. Despite appearances, she was incredibly strong, pinning him down on the ground. "Lesson one: basic fighting techniques."
Luke kicked her off and he thought. I need my bow right now i hope thats a lesson making items appear." Luke ran behind her and jumped on her back.
"Don't expect me to go easy on you, although I promise you won't come to any serious harm. Probably." she said, making a wooden staff appear in her hand as she subsequently both kicked him off and best him up with the previously mentioned staff, keeping him from getting up off the ground, with precise movements only a person who has mastered such forms of combat would be able to execute. "Do you yield, or shall we continue?" Yvaine asked.
" No!" Luke said kicking the staff inthe air and kicking it in which it snapped. going straight for her he jumped in the air kicking her bringing her to the ground
"Well, fantastic. Here, you can have that staff, go on and fetch it if you want. Let me think… hmm, that should do nicely." she said, making twin blades appear in her hands, the deadly sharp steel of the swords flinging in the low light of the room.
Luke looked at her. " Show me how to form a weopon in my hand if you do i yeild and then i want a rematch."
"Little duck, you will soon learn. But patience is a virtue, one that thou must attain before assigned powers beyond that of mortal men." she said.
Luke quickly swung while she was distracted hitting her under knee and making her fall to the ground and he pinned her to the ground taking the weapons and throwing them. " Don't let your guard down." Luke explained
"I didn't." she said, flipping him over, taking back the swords, and striking what would be a killing blow, but in this situation, simply a little painful. "Perhaps we should end this. I lied a bit, actually, I did go easy on you, and I'm rather underwhelmed with the results."
Luke flipped around snatching a sword smacking her in the face flipping around an kicking her to the ground with Luke leaping back. : I don't give up easily." Luke said
"Well, I did defeat you. But, as you wish." she said, rising into the air, sending great balls of deadly fire at him. "I really don't want to take out another of you little things, but," she tsk'd, "you have such small lifespans, such fragile things."
Luke dodged the fireballs running behind her and throwing knives at her back.
( Sorry i was asleep!)
(No problem!)
Yvaine dodged, she seemed faster and much more agile now than most would be. She then grabbed Luke by the wrists, slamming him to an invisible wall. "Done yet?" she asked.
Luke flipped her around putting her arm behind her back and making it snap." You done cause im not!"
"Oh, so you aren't. I could go on doing this for hours, you know." she said, healing her arm. "But I wouldn't want to risk injuring you fatally. That will be enough for today, you may stand down now." she said, making all weapons vanish.
Luke flipped back to his feet. " Well how was I?" Bad? Luke said paranoid.
"Not bad. Absolutely horrific." she said, knocking Luke off his feet, causing him to fall through several layers of fog and mist at very high speeds. "Never let your guard down! Especially not here!" Yvaine shouted down to him.
Luke jumpes up " Ok i give in i want to learn some stuff like you do" Luke said not knowing the word.
( Sorry one i have writers block and two i srsly dont know the word.)
"Well, lesson one has been learned. Lesson two will be… soon, but later. It will happen when the sun has set and risen, but both must happen at the same time before I teach you your next lesson. Remember, the sun must ride and set at the same time before the lesson." she said, disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
Luke looked around for she has dissapeared. " Well this is great. I'm stuck in a random never ending hallway with no windows and no way out of here. How could this get any worse?!" Luke said aloud. " Come out and help me get out of here!" He shouted frowning and pushing hiself accross the floor.
Yvaine reappeared in her office. "So, how did initiation go?" a raven asked. "Shut the tsyinv up, Bjol." Yvaine muttered. "So, you didn't even get him past the combat phase, did'ja?" Bjol asked. "And don't swear, what would Mother say?" Bjol asked, swiftly turning into a muscular young man with blonde hair, almost white, and stormy grey eyes clouded over. Bjol was, evidently, blind. "Mother isn't here, so shut up. And I did get him past basic combat, he's on the riddle now. It was an easy one, it's like the "fill this bucket with no bottom up to the brim with water in this stream" test. Sun rise, sun set, both at the same time." she said, rubbing her temples with a forefinger and thumb. "Ah, that's an easy one. But humans don't think like the stars do. Are you sure you should leave him in Port?" Bjol asked, sitting on the desk. "Yes, I'm entirely sure. Anyways, why don't you just go back up to the sky? This is my exile, not yours. You have no reason to stay." Yvaine sighed. "I'm staying to help you pay penance. You need my help, and as your loyal, faithful, dependable older brother, I'm here to give it." he said.
Luke wondered for help falling asleep on a wall.
( I really have nothing to do so my thing is gonna be short.)
"Listen, I'm going to check up on your apprentice if you don't." Bjol said stubbornly. "You do that. I'm going to take a nap, it's late. Midday, can you bloody believe it! Honestly, humans, always out at late hours. So annoying." she said, closing her eyes. Bjol sighed, leaving Yvaine to take a rest. It was midday, but Bjol didn't really feel tired. He went to Port, locating Luke through the mist. Picking the young man up, he carried Luke to a proper bedroom and lay him down to sleep, tucking him into the folds of the soft sheets.
Luke woke up as he hit the comfortable and soft sheets and the warmth of Bjol felt so good. He startled awake and shivered. " Who are you? Do you guys have the AC on? Do you have a heater? Can you turn the heater on please?" He asked many questions before aclologing that he was the owner of this place or at least thought that.
( Give me a picture of what Bjol looks like human form and whatever his monster form is please!)
(He's tall, muscular, with blonde hair that's almost white down to his shoulders, normally pulled up in a ponytail. He's blind, but uses magic to see, so his eyes are grey and cloudy. Very pale skin tone, he almost looks angelic, and wears white robes that flutter around him as he walks, it's a very cool effect. And the raven thing was just kinda because he could, animal transformation is just fun to do, idk.)
"Rest now, you have much to prepare for. Life, in simplicity. I am Bjol, and we do have something of a hearing system, yes." he said, walking over to the fireplace and building a fire, lighting it. The room was filled with a pleasant warm glow, Bjol say down in a nearby armchair.
Luke looked at what he thought was a very cute boy. " Well i can't sleep i am not tired." Luke said lying. " Where that one girl ummm Yvaine was it? Where is she shes supposed to be teaching me right now or at least when the sun sets and rises at the same time or whatever she said." He repeated it twice to make sure he heard.
( I don't care what happens in this but this is gonna happen
"My sister is busy right now." he said, then began to laugh a little. "The riddle literally means any time at all, as the sun rises and sets at the same time all the time. It just depends on location, where you see it from. She thought that would take you days to figure out, and in all honesty, it probably would have. It's simply an astrological paradox, nothing more."
