“No need to thank me, I honestly think it’s really cool.” Liam replied, smiling at her.
“No need to thank me, I honestly think it’s really cool.” Liam replied, smiling at her.
"Well, I think you're pretty cool," Kasey said, smiling at him.
Liam rolled his eyes and shook his head smiling, “Thanks love.”
"What? Was it too cheesy for you?" Kasey chuckled.
“No, it wasn’t. Okay, maybe a little.” He laughed and pressed a kiss to her cheek.
Kasey giggled and kissed the tip of his nose back.
“You’re so cute.” Liam said, smiling.
"Nah. You are," Kaswy countered, rolling her eyes with a smile.
“We both are. How ‘bout that?” Liam grinned.
Kasey grinned back. "Yeah, I like that compromise."
“Good.” Liam sighed and looked down at his phone, “Okay, I really have to go now.”
"All right…" Kasey sighed, letting go of him reluctantly. "If you must."
"I'll text you later, or you can me it doesn't matter," Liam kissed her gently on the lips, "See you soon."
"See you, Liam," Kasey said with a smile.
Liam gave her a smile before grabbing his guitar and shoes and leaving for his own apartment.
Almost as soon as Liam left, Harper stuck his head into Kasey's room.
"Hey, there's something going on downtown. I'm going to check it out, so I'll be back later," he said, giving her a quick smile.
"Wait, what? Let me come with you!" Kasey said as she moved to stand.
"No, Kase, you can't," Harper told her, shaking his head. "You're hurt."
"I'm fine," Kasey argued. "I was up walking earlier."
"Just because you can walk, doesn't mean you should be fighting," Harper countered. He stepped out of her room. "Bye, Kase. I'll see you later."
"Bye, Harper…" Kasey sighed. And now I'm completely alone…
Once Liam got home, he sighed and placed his guitar away and the meds on the counter. Even walking a few meters had drained his energy so he went to his room and fell asleep.
(Skip?)
With nothing better to do, Kasey curled up in her bed and fell asleep. Quake jumped up, laid beside her head, and purred.
(Yup)
Liam ended up sleeping until late next morning by Mortem who was complaining why he wasn’t being fed. Reluctantly, Liam rolled out of bed to feed his cat.
Kasey rolled over and sat up with a gasp from the pain in her leg. She groaned and sat up, looking down at the wound.
Liam ruffled his hair and checked the time. Good thing Kasey didn’t want him to cut his hair as he’d missing his appointment.
Once he’d taken his meds and fed his cat he sat down in his computer to get some work done, even brought he didn’t want too.
Kasey slid off her bed, careful of her leg. Quake bounced into the room and wound around the heroine's legs. She chuckled and made her way to the kitchen to feed the cat.
Liam sighed dramatically and banged his head on the desk multiple times with a groan.
“Stupid. Useless. Brain.” He let his his head rest on the desk while Mortem walked around his feet meowing. Liam just ignored him.
Kasey fed Quake, the poured herself a simple bowl of cereal. She sat at the table, putting her leg up on the chair across from her.
Liam sighed and let out another groan, picking up his phone to text Kasey.
LIAM: Help, brain isn’t working. I have no writing ideas. And no company (Mortem doesn’t count)
Kasey let her bowl clatter in the sink and pulled her phone out. She glanced at the text with a chuckle.
KASEY: Lol. Um… You can come over? Or I can come over there?
LIAM: I’ll come to you, I don’t want you to injure your leg more then you have. If that’s okay?
KASEY: 'Course it's ok! I think the door's unlocked, so just walk in.
LIAM: Okay, I’ll be over in a few. But if I get too annoying don’t be afraid to kick me out.
Liam headed to his room to change, pulling on some grey pants and grey sweater and a blue patterned poncho thing on the top.
KASEY: That is highly unlikely, but I'll keep that idea in my back pocket.
She looked down at herself and cringed. She was still wearing yesterday's clothes. Maybe she should change?
