Cameron gave a happy laugh. “That’s good. Thanks for letting me stay.”

"Any time, dear," Lilah giggled.

(I'm so sorry! I forgot that I opened this on my laptop and not this…)

Cameron looked up and kissed her cheek. “Love ya.”

Lilah giggled again. "Love you, too."

Cameron relaxed back into the water, looking up at the bunny-cow cloud.
“Moo.”

"It's a bunny!" Lilah exclaimed with an amused huff.

Cameron laughed. “It’s most definitely a cow.”

Lilah glanced back at the cloud and choked back a laugh. "Actually, now it looks like you…"

Cameron put a hand on his chest. “You think I look like a cow!?”

"No, Cameron!" Lilah laughed. "Just look at it!"

Cameron rolled his eyes and looked up at it.
“It looks like a cow.”

"Does everything look like a cow to you?" Lilah asked.

Cameron grinned at her. “No, of course not!”

(I has a squishy. It smells like artificial scent…)

"Only this cloud, then?" Lilah chuckled.

(Oooh i love squishies!)

Cameron grinned up at it. “Yep. Basically.”

(Also I don’t wanna be that guy, but I think Cameron’s heritage should be touched up on more. Like her mother or father expresses their doubts and Lilah asks Cameron wth they gettin so mad)

Lilah laughed. "Of course…"

(Sure. Maybe they run into them when they get back.)

Cameron looked at her again and booped her nose. “It’s only natural.”

Lilah glared at him for a moment before shaking her head with a light chuckle. She turned to kiss Cameron's cheek, then looked up at the sky again.

(Tomorrow is going to be a good day)

Cameron smiled warmly back at her glare. He looked back up at the sky, humming gently.

(Skip to the castle?)

Lilah sighed happily. "This is nice."

Cameron smiled. “It is. I wish it could stay like this.”

(Okie doke.)

After spending about an hour at the lake, the young royals went back to the Lasota residence. Lilah parked the Jeep in front of the castle and sighed. "I don't want to go inside…"

Cameron sighed and rose out of the car. “But we have to. We can’t just forget about our responsibilities…”

"Can't we? Whyever not?" Lilah asked, though she got out as well. She'd tied her wet hair up in a ponytail to keep it of her face.

Cameron slicked back his wet hair with a sigh. “I don’t know. I wish we could.”

"Me, too… But I've got a kingdom that needs running, so unfortunately I can't," Lilah sighed, helping the dogs out of the car.

Cameron hummed gently. He plucked up the barking Lily before she could scamper off.
“You’re right… well, let’s go inside.”

Lilac jumped out of the car and trotted beside Lilah and Cameron as they walked. The princess reached for her boyfriend's hand and intertwined their fingers. Each step they took brought them closer to the castle, closer to Lilah's parents, closer to royal duty.

Cameron held Lily like a precious loaf of bread as they walked hand-in-hand. He squeezed Lilah’s hand nervously, glancing up at the residence with a feeling of forbiddance.

"Lilah? Sunshine, is that you?" a deep voice boomed from the front door.

"Uh, yeah, Daddy. It's me," Lilah called as she stepped inside. The king greeted her with a wide grin and pulled her into a tight hug, thereby causing her hand to slip from Cameron's.
