Name: Bren Hazelwood
Age: 20
Gender: Trans Male
Height: 5'3
Appearance: wide brown eyes, fair skin, curly dark brown hair, black glasses, freckles, more feminine frame. He wears a large sweater with a faded band name on it, underneath that he has a dark grey shirt on, black stretchy pants, combat boots, he always has his thigh sheath on him which has a sharp knife in it.
Personality: Usually sarcastic and pessimistic, though he tries to act threatening he always comes off as cute.
Power: Shadows and Wither.
Wither- Everything that is alive that he touches starts to wither, it has less of an effect on humans but still does affect them. He has almost no control of this power and wears gloves to make sure he hurts no one.
Shadows- Controlling darkness and basic shadow travel, when using his power his eyes go completely black and black swirls appear on his skin.
Backstory: Was orphaned at the age of seven with his little sister who was 3 named Emily, after about a year and a half on the streets she grew sick. They did not have the meds to help her so she died at age 5. Bren grew up by himself and has a very weak immune system.
Other: His powers are unpredictable and quite rare, especially the Wither one.

It's the War to end all wars! Germany has just invaded through neutral Belgium with their massive army to bypass the French defences. We are civilians living in Gent, Belgium; we can either live under occupation of fight the Germans with guerrilla warfare. Firearms do exist but the main form of "weaponry" is through magic.

• this will be rated M because people will be dying possibly. (I am going to try something here, post 2 characters and you can either rp with both at the same time or have a spare in case your character dies. Although you don't have to make two characters.)
•LGBT and shipping is allowed.
•Magic can range from lighting a candle to throwing fireballs the size of people, just don't get too ridiculous with your magic is what I am saying.
•Finally just keep your typing neat enough for us to understand.

Hmm, will Bren's powers be too Op? I tried to make them unpredictable so that added a roadblock for his powers.

Power: Shielding and restoration. He can create shields that can block weapons, but not other magic. He can also heal people's wounds, but cannot resurrect the dead.

Name: Kaitlin Towers
Age: 18
Gender: female
Sexuality: uh… questioning
Personality: on first meeting her she is a shy, introverted person, kinda like a little kid who has just been introduced to a new person if you know what I mean but really she's a fun loving, bubbly person who has a bit of an attitude that comes out very rarely and when I mean rarely, I mean it. Independent most of the time but knows when she needs to ask for help.
Appearance: ginger hair that flows down to her breasts, usually worn half up or braided half up, brig bright blue eyes, very pale and has many freckles all over her face and body, has a pink flush to her cheeks.
Magic abilities: water magic and variations there upon like ice and snow. Can control them to her own use but becomes very dehydrated afterwards and can faint form exhaustion.
Background: fairly decent family life up until she was around six when her dad started to drink most nights. This led to the abuse of her mother and older brother, Sam, and eventually her mother was killed in a car accident. her brother receives most of the abuse but Kaitlin does as well. Sam is like her best friend and the always stick together no matter what.
Other: she wears glasses for reading and close up activities.
