(Hmm, I thought I'd open a window for other characters to do somethings, but that might have killed the RP)
(I can’t really do anything to further the plot without the names so I was chill just waiting)
(I guess that true, but I thought the other character would like to talk with each other a little.)
karis is just finding people and will regroup soon.//
“So I suppose now we wait,” Parker said, looking around at Karis and MJ. “So, what is it you two do?” she asked them, crossing one leg over the other.
"I'm a scientist. I dabble a bit in biology and physics… and a bit of chemistry as well," MJ said, fiddling with the goggles pushed up on her forehead. "What about you?"
"Well, I've been studying human medicine. I have actually found that I want to be a human doctor to put my skills to good use. It's also fascinating," Parker said crossing one leg over the other. "What does being a scientist entail?"

"Well, I'm not an official scientist," MJ admitted. "I'm currently studying magic, see if there's any way it can be improved by science."
"Oh, sort of like what I'm doing with medicine!" Parker exclaimed, her eyes lighting up slightly. It was clear this was a topic she was passionate about. "How does your fire magic help with that? Or are you studying other kinds of magic?"

"Other kind of magic, mostly. My mom wants me to be some type of scientist, so I'm just dabbling around, trying to find what I'm good at. Maybe engineering or chemistry? I'm not sure… well, if I became either of the two, fire magic would certainly help. What about you? What are you doing with magic?" MJ asked, smiling slightly at the glint in Parker's eyes.
"Well, I haven't really thought about upgrading all medicine, so to speak. Mostly just my own personal work. I'm trying to decide if I want to be a doctor at a hospital or open my own practice. Because if I opened my own, I could hire staff I trusted with magic and be my own boss. On the other hand, if I work at a general hospital, or the ER perhaps, I would have a boss but I would reach more people. But then I also have to worry about being caught more." She stopped and took a breath, realizing how much she was talking. "Sorry, I'm rambling a bit," she said, almost mumbling.
MJ giggled. "Nah, it's fine. It's amazing that you're so passionate about this. You're really cute when you're talking about medicine."
"Oh I-haha," Parker giggled nervously, her face hot, and smiled. "I - thanks." She cleared her throat. "So umm what kind of stuff do you like to do?" Parker was usually one to think out her words carefully but all she could think as the previous words came out of her mouth were lame, lame, lame.
"Well, I've been moving from project to project in my free time without much success, but for now, I'm trying to make a chemical solvent that basically is earplugs that mold to your ears. You're supposed to be able to take them out whenever you want, but I'm still working on that part. It's for defense against harpies and sirens. And you?" MJ asked.
“Well I just read a lot. Recently it’s been books on medicine and human biology and all that. I say this at the risk of sounding completely alien but humans are pretty fascinating. How they work both physically and mentally. Actually that’s pretty much what I do in my free time. Study the human psyche,” Parker said, pushing up her glasses.

Azora smiled coming through the door, "I love connivance stores one stop shopping for all your occult needs. Salt for separating soul from body, Ice to keep the body habitable, and" she tossed and hot dog on the counter, "Food for familiars." She started moving towards the bathroom, "So we have a fixed time now so I'll be commandeering the tub."

"You're not part human?" MJ asked, curious. (haha i just realized the coincidences- mj and parker, what are the odds)
(omg thats kinda amazing)
"Oh uh, nope," Parker said, pushing her hair back and tapping her fingers against her legs. "My mother is a demon and my dad's an angel. What about you, if you don't mind?" she asked. Parker made sure to say the demon part quickly. She didn't like the way people looked at her after they knew what she was. She looked up as Azora entered the room, and watched her march into the bathroom.

"Human, and angel," MJ muttered. She didn't ask about the way that Parker said "demon," and hoped that the other girl was smart enough to not pry about "angel," "Hey, do you want to go train together outside?" she asked, changing the subject quickly. "If we run into any dangers, it's probably best to be prepared. I mean, I work best on the fly, but I don't want to take any chances. It's my first mission."
"Like . . . " Parker searched for the word. "Sparring?" She considered it. "Well, I'm not the best at hand-to-hand stuff. I mostly specialize in long-range weaponry or just healing. Though now that I think about it, it'd be smart to practice that kind of stuff. It's my first mission too, and you're right, it's good to be prepared." She stood up. "Shall we?"
Azora looked over at Fiona, "You volunteered to drown me, and if memory serves you use water magic right?"
Fiona nodded "yup," she walked over to the bathroom and set the bags of ice down near the bathroom door, waiting for Azora's instructions.
