"Why would I do that? I don't want to subject someone else to this mess," Lilah said, smiling more at the kiss to her nose.

Cameron laughed gently. “I’m sure you could get a pretty penny for it, though.”

"Do I look like I need the money?" Lilah asked, raising an eyebrow.

Cameron glanced at her. “It never hurts to get more.”

"Well, no," Lilah agreed. "But I don't need it…"

Cameron booped her nose. “I see what you’re saying.” He grinned.

"I thought I told you to stop doing that!" Lilah laughed.

Cameron gave her a happy look. “You did!”

"You told me you would," Lilah reminded him with an amused grin.

Cameron tilted his head. “Did I?”

"Um… I think so…?" Lilah said, now somewhat confused.

Cameron blinked and left the akward, confused silence unbroken for a few moments. He booped her nose, then, suddenly.

"Cameron!" Lilah exclaimed, dissolving into laughter.

Cameron burst out laughing with her. “Your nose is so boopable!”

"Staaaahhhp!" Lilah continued to laugh.

Cameron held her close, laughing with her. He fell silent suddenly, staring at her intently.

Lilah slowly became quiet, too. She looked at Cameron worriedly.

"What…?" she asked, wary of his answer.

Cameron kept the straight face, though he was very tempted to break it with a smile. He just continued staring at her in silence.

Lilah felt her cheeks heat up significantly as Cameron continued to stare at her.

"What, Cam?" she asked softly.

Slowly reaching up a hand… he booped her nose and beamed. “Boop.”

"Ugh… I quit," Lilah groaned, covering her face with a pillow, successfully hiding her smile and looking annoyed at the same time.

Cameron giggled and hugged her. “I’m sorry! I can’t resist it!”

"No, it's too late to apologize," Lilah groaned, her voice muffled by the pillow.

Cameron giggled more. “I’ll apologize anyway.”

(subtle reference goes unnoticed… Lol.)

"Fine…" Lilah sighed without moving. She was just too lazy to at the moment.

Cameron laid down next to her. “What’s wrong?”

("…it's too late to apologize…")

"Nothing. Just feeling lazy," Lilah explained with a shrug.

(Ooooooh)

Cameron set his head down. “Understandably so.”

(Lol. Apparently it was more subtle than I thought.)

Lilah, face still buried in a pillow, reached out toward the direction Cameron's voice was coming from. When she felt him, she found his face and squished his cheeks.

Cameron giggled as she squished his face together. He couldn’t say anything but he was laughing softly.
