I WANNA TALK ABOUT TWENTY ONE PILOTS

Ahem. Salutations, my people. So yeah… I saw some people talking about the leak, and I've got to be honest.. I'm listening to Smithereens as I type.

It's becoming a habit, honestly, regardless if it was Tyler or a fellow clique member who leaked it…

A part of me tells me I should've waited until Oct. 5th to listen to Trench, but honestly, the temptation was too much. And now I know most of the words to most of the songs…

I cried. A lot. Especially with Leave the City and Neon Gravestones, but I won't spoil them or anything in case you haven't heard, because I know how much it means to everyone. To me.

So… Am I the only one [I know] who speaks 90% Twenty One Pilots references? (Asides from my cousin, 'cause I know he's floating around here somewhere.)

People ask me how I'm doing, and I either reply with "I am not as fine as I seem", or "I'm dying but I'm trying but believe me I'm fine, but I'm lying I'm so very far from fine." Or "I'm stressed out". Depends on my mood. Then people ask "Hey, what's up?" And I just deadpan "East".

"What's your morning routine?" I wake up fine and dandy but then by the time I find it handy to….
"Yo, do you have a pen?" Yeah, but I'm an addict with it.
"Where are you?" YOU'LL HAVE TO COME AND FIND ME.
"What kinda music do you listen to?" My taste in music is your face/It's called ukulele screamo and it's art.
"I'll be the judge of that." OH NO. Set me freeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeee.
"It's Taco Tuesday!" BEEF AND CHEESE AND LeeeeTTtttUuuCee! No tomatos!!"

Or, sometimes I get a wide selection to choose from, like "You're going to fall!", in which I could respond one of many ways:

  • Then I'll take my time on my ride
  • The ground taunts my wings, plummet as I siiiinnnggg
  • I don't wanna fall, fall away
  • Yooouu've stolen my air catcher, and I don't know if, I want it baacck
  • I WON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH FALLING

But yeah. Not limited to just song lyrics. Sometimes I'll just randomly scream "IT'S PRETTY COOL" because vines, or I'll quote tweets or interviews. Literally anything.

Haha those are so good! I'm gonna make sure to use them on my friend who doesn't like Twenty One Pilots. (How could anyone not like Twenty One Pilots?)
