My friends and I could honestly probably get arrested if someone overheard our discussions….
Like one about overthrowing the government and installing a government run by firstborns called First Born Nation.

Okay. Bec and Fire can duel for the position of Backup Water Boy (I'm sorry it's the only position left). The loser can be Backup Backup Water Boy.

Honestly I've been on here for like 2 hours and I'm glad I figured out one plot point!!!! Alas, poor Jackson shall feel my writerly wrath tomorrow!

Yes, but still… poor guy. Although, my characters usually fare much worse because I'm the worst and made healing magic a thing. Yeah, it has its limits, but it's still really powerful.

Also Australian accent is not a thing
You will perfectly understand everything we're saying unless we're using Aussie slang

Also Wisconsinites don't say 'Don't'cha know?'. Like ever. I only use it sarcastically or when singing this Christmas song that for some reason says 'Don't'cha know that it's Christmas' as the refrain.
And if I didn't talk about Wisco so much, I bet y'all would think I'm from the South because of my overuse of 'y'all'. Which I picked up from my softball coach who's from Texas. My friend almost got myself and two other friends beat up by Texans.

So it's sort of the equivalent to the accent someone in the southern US who lives in a town with a population of 10? Doesn't really exist, but people make fun of it and generalize it to the population as a whole?

So we were at Global Finals, and me, him, and 2 other teammates/friends were walking back to go to the Opening Ceremony. We pass a group of Texans, and my friend, whom I'll call Ryan, is pretty much your stereotypical theare kid. He starts chanting "Texas! Texas! Texas!" as we walk by and they wave back. Keep in mind that Ryan is quite small, he's like my height and under my weight, and yells as a joke "I HATE TEXAS!" because he's like that. And we knew it was a joke, but they didn't and also looked EXTREMELY pissed off, so I ran for my hecking LIFE to Thomsan-Boling while I yelled at him about it. It was terrifying then, but a bit funny now.
