"Ok." Veronica finally agreed and looked back at Clove. "You're gonna have to help me in that department because I have no idea how to do that." Veronica wiped the tears off of her face and wiped her eyes. She sat back down in her chair and put her head in her hands again.
((Hey, I’m really really sorry for the late response… My grandma just died recently, and I’ve just been in a really rough place. I’m trying to get back into my usual schedule though, so I’ll be back online regularly again ^^))
The faint outline of a smile lit up Cloves face. “I’d be honored to help you. Don’t worry, I’ll help you learn. Everything’s going to be alright now, I promise.” More or less the last part was said so she could calm herself down. She reached her arm back and ran it through the underside of her hair, trying to restabilaze her emotions. Her arms dropped and her eyes fell back on Veronica, waiting for her response.
(It's fine, self-care is the best care)
Veronica looked back up to Clove and saw a very small smile on her lips. She couldn't help but smile back but just for a bit. "So what're we gonna do now?" She asked, looking back down at her wrung hands.
((Thanks ^^))
Clove took a few steps closer to Veronica and took her hands in her own. Squeezing a little, she said, “How about for now we just go back home for now.. We can work this out later. “
"Okay." Veronica squeezed her hand back before letting go. "I have to change back into my casual clothes."
Pulling herself back, Clove allowed herself a small smile. Looking down at her own outfit, she casually laughed, “Yeah, I should probably change too. You don’t happen to have anything laying around that I could borrow? My clothes are back in my car at the police station.”
"Yea, I actually have a storage locker of clothes that I've left or clothes for me to change into." Veronica said, walking back to her closet. "I'm sure you'll be able to find something to your liking." She opened the door to show a wide collection of clothes of all sorts. "The hoodie's are in the back in case you want one." She chose out her clothes and went to the bathroom to change.
“Thanks,” Clove called after Veronica as she walked away to change. She started to rifle through the clothes in the locker, until she found a pair of blue jeans and a cute hoodie. She totally lucked out at the fact her and Veronica were pretty much the same size, and stole each other’s clothes all the time. Well, more or less it was her steeling Veronica’s hoodies, but she had so many and they were soft. Since Veronica was in the bathroom, Clove quickly changed by the locker. After fixing her hair, she folded up her hero suit, then pulled back on her mid calf black boots.
Veronica wore some black skinny jeans and a pineapple t-shirt that had sequins on the arms. She knew it was childish but she loved flipping the sequins and changing it from yellow to pink. She put her hair up in a messy bun and stepped out of the bathroom. She put her backpack over her shoulder and went out to check on Clove. "You ready to go?"
((Call me an emo but now I have Ready To Go by Panic at the disco stuck in my head xD))
After tucking her pants around her boots, she looked up and smiled at her friend. “Yup. Let’s go.” She balled up her supersuit a little more and shoved it into the hoodies pocket, then proceded to shove her hands into the pocket. “Its so soft,” she thought. She burrowed herself into it a little more before saying, “So where’s the exit in this place? Where even is this place??” She looked around in wonder for a second, wondering how she never found this place before.
(Emo)
"Oh, well, umm…" Veronica scratched the back of her neck and looked up to the right. She completely forgot that her warehouse was literally in the middle of nowhere. "So, the thing is… there is no exit. We actually have to be… ejected out and sent through an underground tube, two cities away from where we live." She said, not making eye contact with Clove.
