(Let's continue)
(from where we were?)
(Maybe when she wakes up)
(k I can start)
(im just gonna say its the morning)
North woke up and rolled over onto the other side of the bed. She sat up and looked around. "Tyler?" He emerged from the bathroom, already dressed. "Morning." He said, walking over to her. She put her arms out and he laughed, picking her up. "I'm not your slave." North smiled and buried her head in his shoulder. "Yes but you're my husband."
(Mkay)
M and Pax had risen early. Pax had stayed up all night begging for the ass, which forced M to stay up also. M had finished making breakfast and was sitting in his chair with a leg crossed, almost pointedly telling Pax to go fuck himself.
Tyler walked downstairs with a still sleepy North in his arms. “Morning.” He said, walking into the kitchen and grabbing an apple.
M gave a soft, rather tired grunt in return. “Morning, Tyler.”
Pax gave a loud meow and flopped across M’s lap to the best of his ability.
“You want food?” He asked North. She shook her head. “Yes you do.” He said, taking something and setting her down in a chair.
M gave a slight growl in what may or may not have been a language and nudged Pax off of his legs, readjusting so he was comfrotable with one leg crossed.
North flopped her head down on the table, ignoring the food set in front of her. Tyler sighed. “C’mon North.”
M put his nose back into his book with a grunt as Pax flopped back down on him, meowing and pawing at the hardcovered book.
North sighed and ate a little at a time, scanning the title of M’s book. “Why are you always reading that book?” She asked quietly.
M glanced at the cover. “I like butterflies, I guess.” His answer was dull, not as if he wasn’t interested in her question, as if he were detached from himself.
North laid her head sideways on her hands and watched M curiously.
M leaned back into the chair, looking back at his book. Pax had fallen silent and was watching him, his tail flicking unhappily.
North kept staring him down as Tyler took her semi empty plate.
It would be now that one would notice M wasn’t flipping any pages. He was doing that thing where you would read one word and it wouldn’t register, so you’d just sit there and stare at it.
“M? You okay?” She asked, noticing he had stopped reading.
M jumped a little in his seat. “Mmyeah, I’m alright. Just tired.”
“Me too..” She muttered, looking down at the table and sighing.
M shook his head a little then went back to ‘reading’.
Pax gave a skeptical meow.
"You should get some sleep." She suggested quietly.
M glanced up again. “I’m okay. You should go rest.”
"I'm fine. I got sleep." North said. Her comment making Tyler shake his head. "You should go get some rest." She continued.
M glanced at Tyler. “According to Tyler, you didn’t. Go sleep.”
"You didn't either though. Also you need it more than I do."
M shook his head. “I’ll be fine. Go sleep.”
"No. Not until you do." She said stubbornly.
M shook his head. “North, just go get some rest.”
"I won't until you do. Why won't you? It's not like you have stuff to do." She continued arguing.
