Griffin headed over to the cupboard in the corner and carefully extracted to flowers he’d picked just before the performance. Tying them together in a bouquet, he walked over you Eleanore, nerves buzzing in his chest. He tapped her on the shoulder, cheeks slightly pink. “Hey, I um, brought you these flowers.”, he stammered shyly, offering them to her.

Eleanore turned around to see Griffin handing her a bouquet of flowers. Surprised, she took them blankly. Then her face split into a grin. "Thank you so much, Griffin." She kissed him on the cheek and gave him a side hug before going to the sink and putting them in a glass full of water.

"So clueless." Ana whispered, wrapping the silk ribbon around her uninjured wrist.

Eli rolled his eyes. "So, what're you gonna do about your crush?" He asked Ana as her face turned pink.

(no she's deaf but she uses sign language so people will respond using it)

Ana nodded and looked down at the floor. The ringleader didn't know that she was mute. Every time she had to answer a question, Eli would come and save her from it.

Griffin’s cheeks flushed red and he grinned goofily after her. She’s so beautiful.., he thought to himself. “G-Glad you like them.”, he stammered.

Ana let out a little laugh as she overheard Griffin, ignoring Elliot.

Lia looked up from her stretching and chuckled at the awkward exchange between Griffin and Eleanor. Jace sat down next to her and said, "even in the darkest moments, teenage love still thrives." Lia laughed.
"This is probably our last 'normal' day for a while, let them be," she said, and got up.

"Don't ignore me." Eli said, standing in Ana's field of vision. "I know you have a crush on him." He signed to her. "Shut up." She signed back, climbing the silk to get away from Eli.

Griffin scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, cheeks red. “Yeah.”, he admitted to Leo, well aware that Eleanore could hear him.

Ana climbed to the top of the silk and began practicing her routine, trying to be more graceful. Eli stood underneath, spotting her.

Lia hoisted herself up on a platform and starts practicing one of her favorite stunts. She stands on her hands and moves her legs into a splits position.
She gets so distracted thinking about the exploring her and Eleanor are going to do that night that she falls from her position and onto the ground.

Ana smiled at herself as she wrapped her legs and feet around the silk and spread her arms out, gracefully bending upside down. She smiled at Eli.

Ana gave Elliot a thumbs up, telling him that he didn't have to spot her anymore. He nodded, leaving her to gracefully go into another star split. He walked up to the front of the ring and lit one end of the baton on fire, twirling it cautiously.

Griffin cleared his throat. “Anyways, I, uh, should probably go practice.”, he said awkwardly, waking back to the ring.

Lia and Jace continue to practice with everyone else until it's time to head in and wash up.
