Eli chuckled. "Looks like we all need a break." He began to leave the room. "Let's get rest while we can."

Griffin looked into her deep, metallic eyes. "No.", he admitted. "You?"

(sorry I hadn't seen it)
She shook her head. "Not in the least."

"What's wrong?", he asked her softly, taking a step closer.

"Hey, uh, guys, I went out and I found this on the ground." Lia holds up the tiny key to the group. "Why was it lying around? The ringmaster wouldn't just leave it around for no reason."

"I don't know. I'm nervous about tonight, I just have this bad feeling…" She looked him in the eye.

"Keep it for now." Eli told Lia. "We don't know when we might need it."

Jace walked over to Lia and looked closely at the key. "I have no idea what it could unlock. You guys should try to find something tonight. Maybe it'll help."
Lia pocketed the key. "I just hope he doesn't realize it's missing. I'm really nervous that he dropped it on purpose or something. Oh no, do you think he heard us earlier?" She looked frantically around the room at everyone.

"I don't think he'd expect you out of all of us." Eli told her. "And no, I don't think he heard us. He would have screamed already if he had."

"It'll go fine, as long as we're careful. Still…" He slipped one hand between her cheek and the wall, stroking it gently with his thumb. "I hate it when you put yourself in danger."

Ella leaned into his hand and slipped her other hand into his. "It's necessary. We have to stop this horror show once and for all."

Griffin moved his face closer. "In the long run, it's worth it.", he said softly. "Promise me you win't get hurt?"

"I promise," she murmured, shuffling forward.

Jace turns to Lia. "The ringmaster usually comes in here before locking himself in his room, so you and Ella wait for his door to lock before you leave."

Griffin could see deep into her gorgeous blue eyes as he ran one hand through her hair. "You really are beautiful, you know that?", he mrumured. He couldn't keep his eyes off her.

(nothing I say in pertaining to romance is sexual, btw. I don't write smut)

Eleanore blushed and ran a thumb across his cheek. "So are you, Griffin. So are you."

Griffin let his eyes fall shut, leaning forward to press his lips softly against Ella's. He burired one hand in her hair, the other carressing her cheek as he kissed her gently, sweetly, letting his body fill with warmth and love.

Ella smiled under his lips. She cupped his face in her hands gently. A burst of happiness coursed through her.

Griffin could feel her smile under him as he sank into bliss. He was kissing Ella. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that for.", he said, lips still brushing hers gently.

Eli yawned again, exiting the room with Ana. "I need sleep…"

Lia walked over to Ana. "Did you see?" she asked, talking about Griffin and Eleanor. "I didn't mean to creep on them but…" she said slowly, grinning.

Ana nodded excitedly. "I didn't mention it to Elliot because I knew he would tell everyone but…yeah I did!"

Lia laughs. "I'm just glad that they're happy. Hopefully, when we get out it'll continue."

"I'm so glad that someone here is kissing their crush." Ana muttered, nodding at Lia.
