Rex felt his ears warm. “Really?”

"Probably. What else would I miss?"

Rex laughed. “You hardly know me!”

"You made me float away!" He giggled.

Rex shrugged. “And? What’s the significance of that?”

"Makes you pretty special, it doesn't happen often."

Rex laughed gently. “So you did lie.”

"I..ugh..I wasn't trying to.."

Rex hummed. “I understand.”

"Good. So yeah, if I do leave, you should come."

Rex smiled. “I might.”

“It’s a plan then.” He grinned.

Rex waved a finger. “I said maybe.” His tone was light and soft.

“Aww please?” Lex pleaded while laughing.

Rex gave a gentle laugh. “Okay, I will.”

"Good. Two is better than one." He stated, sitting back in his chair.

Rex rose his eyebrows in agreement and looked back down at his food. He continued cronching in silence.

Lex stared out at the spoopy trees, humming quietly to himself. His hands fidgeting in his lap.

Rex finished his food and rose to get more. Nom nom food.

Lex floated over to Rex's house, a little nervous. He knocked on the door(?) and waited for Rex.

“Come in!” Answered Rex’s call.

Lex floated in and smiled at Rex. "I was thinking I would leave today."

Rex drifted over. “Were you, now?”

"Yeah. You wanna come?" He asked shyly.

Rex smiled a little. “Sure!”

Lex grinned. "So, we just go out and try and find this guy?"
