“Nice house. You have a name?” He smiled a little.
“Nice house. You have a name?” He smiled a little.
"Ma noime's Rex! Been heah fo fiffffffteeoooin yeahs!"
“Whoa I’ve only been here for ahhhuhhhh I don’t know I think I was 17.”
"Oi das a won tioime too moit ya! Sit doiwn I'll getchu som toi."
“Ok then.” Lex did as he said and glanced around, twisting his hands in his lap.
Rex made some nice tea and handed him a cup. "Wan some luohphs?"
“Thanks. Some what?” Lex frowned.
"Luhmps." Rex laughed.
“OH oh sure just a couple.” He blushed a little but smiled.
"Ya ya sure moit." He walked over to his sugar bag and plopped in a couple sugar cubes, then handed the cup to Lex.
“Thank you.” He said quietly, taking a sip. “My names Lexin by the way.”
"Well it's great to meet you!" Rex exclaimed in a totally normal American accent because the writer decided to not.
Mood
“You too.” Lex said happily.
Rex grinned and sat down, picking up his crackers. "So, what did you do before you died?"
“I..just..Well…I’m not really sure.”
Rex looked at him. "What do you mean by that?"
“I guess I just lived. I don’t really remember.” He looked down.
Rex hummed gently. "I'm sorry I brought it up, then. Not a good way to start a conversation, huh?"
Lex flinched, memories from when he was living rushing back to him. Tylers face..the brief laughter and then the shot of pain through his body…his parents..stop. He told himself. Over and over. Stop it Lex. His hands were clenched right in his lap and his vision went blurry. Thoughts not just about his death whirring around in his mind. Breathe Lex, breathe..
Rex studied the other’s profile carefully. “Hey man, you alright?”
“I-I’m fine..” Lex muttered quietly, his hands unclenched and shaking in his lap. His eyes were glazed over and staring at nothing as he tried controlling his thoughts. Breathe Lex, just breathe. He imagined Tyler kneeling down next to him and Lex’s eyes flicked to his side. C’mon Lex, you can do it. For me. Tyler told him, and that’s what Lex did. He took a deep breath and then another one, and another.
Rex sighed and looked away. Great. I totally wrecked the moment.
“I’m fine, I’m fine.” Lex said again, this time it was true though. He glanced up at Rex, the mind Tyler drifting away. “Really I’m okay”
Rex looked at him again. "Alright, if you say so."
“Yeah. Just fine.” Lex said. “Sorry bout that. It just happens sometimes.”

(What)
Rex blinked. "Alright. Well sorry I brought it up."
(😂Nothing)
“No it’s fine. Anyways, how about you, what’s your story?”
Rex shrugged. "I killed myself."
“Oh..but why? You’re really nice and stuff.”
"I was lonely." There was a touch of sadness in his voice.
