North made a sympathetic noise and continued rubbing his snoot.
The dragon gave a low rumble and started purring. It got down to her level so she could rub his snoot better
North smiled and sat there rubbing it, enjoying herself. Then she realized nobody knows where she was. "That's not good, is it. I should probably go find them."
The dragon howled gently and straightened up its head. It nudged her unhappily.
“I’m sorry. I can’t stay here forever.” She sighed, standing up.
It nudged her back down, sending her onto her bum.
North laughed and gazed up at the dragon. “Are you going to keep doing that every time I stand up?”
The dragon nudged her tummy again, trying to prompt her to pat it again. I crooned.
“Do you have a name?” She asked it while rubbing it again.
It let out a low crooning sound that lasted for about fifteen seconds. It then fell silent again.
“I’m sure you understood that but I however did not.” She said, resting her chin on him and looking up into his eyes.
It yapped pup-like and its huge tail lashed behind him.
North laughed softly and looked around her. “Are you all alone out here?”
It gave another low howl that lasted for at least thirty seconds. There was no response.
“Aw..well you know you can’t keep me right?”
It picked her up softly between its huge jaws and stood up, wagging its huge tail. It started to trot in a certain direction.
"No you can't take me with you!" She cried, flailing around.
It gave a soft yap and kept its maw firm but soft on her. Slowly yet steadily it carried her out of the spoopy forest.
"Where are you taking me?" She asked, accepting the fact that it wasn't going to let go of her.
It didn’t answer, but it paused when something pushed out of the bushes.
“Sjer! There you are!” Exclaimed a familiar New-York accent.
"Oh I see. You can put me down now please." She sighed.
Sjer yapped a muffled yap, its tail thumping behind them.
“Sjer! Sit!”
Sjer sat like an overlarge dog.
"I know this might be a surprise to you Zackary but this isn't how I imagined us seeing each other again. Not the most comfortable way either." She added in an undertone.
Zackary squinted up at her. “What do you have up there?” He only heard the musings of her voice and not the words.
Sjer thumped its tail and yapped excitedly, almost dropping North.
"Put me downnnn!" She cried desperately.
Sjer didn’t do anything.
“Sjer! Put her down!”
The dragon dropped her instead.
North shrieked and landed on her feet, stumbling and falling over. "You certainly like seeing me fall don't you."
Zackary watched her fall and stumble boredly, not moving to help.
“I told him to put you down, not drop you. He did the better of his two options.”
“I’m just going to pretend you didn’t say that.” She said, standing up and brushing herself off.
