“Mhm, right. I wasn’t so that’s somthing you don’t have to worry about demon boy.” Liam’s smirk grew slightly wider.
(Oki! Good night!)
Zackary rolled his shoulders back, his gaze challenging. “You think you’re gonna give me something to worry about? I’m not worried.”
Liam chuckled, “Yeah, why’d you wanna worry about a silly little human anyway?” He raised a brow and pulled his head away a little.
“There aren’t any Demons around, and you’re the hottest mortal to take interest in me.” He put his hands on the table, leaning his front half back and keeping the other forward.
“So, I play by my only cards,” He finished with a slight grunt as his back popped.
"Ah, so you take you're only option then. I see." Liam's gaze flicked from the others face to his back then back to his face.
“I’m the only option?” Zackary chuckled gently. “No, you should take that you are my only option.”
“That’s what I was getting at demon boy.” Liam replied, rolling his eyes.
Zackary hummed gently. The waiter approached with the cakes and bill, then scooted off.
“Sweet…”
Liam sat back in his seat and pulled out his wallet, pulling out the cash he needed to pay and placed it on the table.
Zackary scarfed down the two cakes and leaned back with a sigh. “Ooh good stuff. Yess, thank you, dear mortal friend.”
Liam chuckled, “Don’t mention it.” He said, giving the other a smile.
Zackary grinned back with pointy teeth. “I won’t.”
Liam smiled and shook his head, “If you’re finished eating we should clear off so they can use the table for someone else.”
Zackary clicked his teeth together happily. “Alright, let’s go, then.”
Liam stood and stretched his back out, “Where’d ya wanna head next? Home and leave it there for the night or…”
Zackary rose out of the booth too. “You know what I want. Base your decision around that.”
“Wanna head back to mine then?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I do not care,” Zackary purred with a pop of his lips.
“You’re a very indecisive demon, aren’t you?” Liam chuckled.
“Indecisive? Noo, more like- well, I’ll let you fill it in.” Zackary walked next to Liam, slouching.
Liam shook his head, smiling, “Come on then.” He led them outside.
Zackary tailed him and paused between their cars. “Lead me there?”
Liam nodded and grinned, “You know it.” He said, getting in his car.
Zackary slipped into his, buckled in and started the car, ready fir Liam to start driving.
Liam started his car and quickly made a U-turn, driving towards his house. He looked back and made sure Zackary was following.
Zackary pulled out too, pulling to a stop behind his car. Zackary glanced at the radio and turned it on.
Once Liam was sure Zackary was following, he sped up a little. It wasn’t far to his house and they would make it there in good time.
Zackary glanced up in the middle of radio hunting and sped up after Liam. The channel was stuck on a country station, of which Zackary despised.
It wasn’t long before Liam pulled into his driveway, putting the car in park and stepping out, throwing his keys up in the air and catching them while he waited for Zackary.
Zackary pulled up in Liam’s driveway too, angrily bapping his radio to shut it off.
“God…” He growled incoherently as he stepped out of the car.
