"Hey." One of the guys on the team said. "I'm Christopher. Just call me Chris though." Dylan smiled and nodded, shaking his hand. "Dylan. I'm trying out for high attack. What position are you?" He asked Chris. "Low attack. I'm more of a non-running guy." The assistant coach stood up and blew a whistle. "Alright! Try outs are going to start a little early today. This is because…well…we don't have enough people for try outs. Everyone here is on the team." The guys cheered along with Dylan. "Okay!" The assistant coach blew the whistle again. "First practice is in two days! Check your emails for the time." Dylan nodded and followed the rest of his team out of the practice facility. He waved goodbye to Chris and put on his roller skates, making his way back to his dorm.
"I like to draw more, I mean I do paint but Im more of a drawing person….and how is it that you ended up choosing child psychology anyway? Not a lot people choose that road" Lina said gaining more confidence
Calypso bounced back onto the bed, playing with the ends of her side-braid. “It saddens me how many parents don’t understand how kids’ brains work, and that kids aren’t simple or stupid at all.” She shrugged. “The child mind is incredibly complex, I want to find out about it.” She ran over to the window, and gasped. “”Oh my god we have a view of the sea!”

Dylan unlocked his dorm room and threw his stuff in his messy room. This was the first time he actually paused to look at it. His bedroom was small, but bigger than the one at his house back home. When you walked in, a large bookshelf stood at the right. Tons of trophies and trinkets covered the top. To the left was his closet and dresser that was covered in random clothes. His bed sat in the corner that housed green and blue covers and sheets. The corner opposite of it was where he kept his lacrosse and skating stuff. Dylan opened his curtains and peered out the window. "Ugh. A view of the park." He chuckled. "It's not an ocean view, but it works."

Lina went over to the window, she didn't really saw outside the window until now "Woow so beautiful" she rushed over her room and started rummaging trough her backpack, she then took a small camera went to the window again and took a picture of the view "perfectua" She said looking at the picture she just took
Calypso took in the gorgeous view, sitting on her bed with her elbows propped up against the windowsill. The turquoise waves dipped and rolled, crashing up against the golden sand and rocky outcrop as gulls circled above in the bright sky. She took a deep breath of the salty breeze, saying to Lina. “It reminds me of Australia… At least a now it seems like I’m a bit closer to home.”
"Wow you lived in Australia? how cool!, this is the first time I live close to the beach" Lina said still looking at her picture and then turned to Calypso "How did you ended up here?"
Calypso smiled wistfully at the mention of Australia. “I got a scholarship, and my parents didn’t have the money to send me to a university closer by, so…” She shrugged. “Do you know how to surf?”
Lina widened her eyes "Um no, and Im not really interested, I want my body to be in one piece thank you very much" she said jokingly
Calypso laughed, mismatched eyes sparkling. “It’s not that bad!”, she giggled, unzipping her suitcase.
"yeah yeah say that again to me when you have one of your legs bitten off" Lina said feeling now comfortable in Calypso's presence
Dylan tapped the side of his bed, unsure what to do. He didn't have a roommate yet, which was kind of cool. He stood up and took one of the boxes from his closet and brought it to the kitchen, unpacking the few kitchen things he had.
"So umm i guess there will be a party, reunion or something for the 1st day of school right?" Lina asked unsure
“An as assembly, I think, in…” she checked her watch. “20 minutes.”
Lina's eyes widened "OMG I HAVE TO GET READYY!!" she ran to her room and closed the door, she went straight to her suitcase and started trowing everything she found out of it "this one?…mmm no (trows it) This one…..nah (trows it) This one, no no to fancy (trows it) Too wrinkly (trows it) Mmmm perfect!" She exclaimed as she found a pastel pink sweater, she then looked for her favorite skinny jeans, some flats, and a beanie. She ran towards the bathroom and started to get ready

Calypso smiled, quickly adding a flowy floral-patterned scarf to her outfit and laying her guitar, her clarinet, her viola, and her collapsible keyboard next to her desk.
