"I think she likes it," Lilah said with a light laugh. She eat another Hershey kiss, stuffing the wrappers in her pocket.
"I think she likes it," Lilah said with a light laugh. She eat another Hershey kiss, stuffing the wrappers in her pocket.
Lily finished the peanut butter quickly. She licked her snout repeatedly, sitting down again.
“She certainly does, huh?” Cameron asked with a laugh.
Lilah set the spoon down and rubbed the top of Lily's head.
"What's your favorite topping to put on pizza?" she asked randomly.
Cameron blinked at Lilah. “Me?”
Lily borked happily and licked for Lilah’s face.
"No, Lily," Lilah rolled her eyes before smiling. "Yes you."
Cameron grinned a little sheepishly. “I like pepperoni and onions on my pizza.” He shrugged. “Kinda basic but whenever I went out that’s what I got.”
"Onions? Wow. Personally, I like sausage. Or pineapple," Lilah said.
“Pineapple?” Cameron blinked at her a couple times, dumbstruck.
"What, have you never heard of that?" Lilah asked.
“Well, yeah, it’s really… no offense to you, but really nasty! I had it once and the chef called it an ‘old classic’.”
"It's not nasty…" Lilah grumbled, eating another piece of chocolate. "I like it."
Cameron shrugged. “I don’t mind it, but it’s the texture that made me push it away.”
"Texture? Huh. I never thought about that," Lilah mused. "Anyway…"
Cameron frowned, realizing he was being reprimanded. He glanced at her with a slight grin of apology.
Lilah smiled back. She wasn't reprimanding him, just trying to change the subject.
Cameron took a bite of his chocolate and looked down at his puppy, prickling with guilt. Why does everything I say seem to be wrong?
"You okay?" Lilah asked softly, her eyes showing her worry.
Cameron glanced up at her. “Yeah, I’m okay.” He smiled faintly.
"You sure?" Lilah asked as she moved a bit closer.
Cameron nodded, not noticing her inching forward. “Yeah, I’m sure.” His voice was somewhat heavy. She’s gonna end up slapping me or… breaking up with me? What… is our relationship?
"Mm. Okay…" Lilah sighed, leaning her head on his shoulder.
Cameron blinked down at her. Didn’t she just get upset with me? Nevertheless, he put an arm around her.
Lilah sighed contentedly. If they didn't have to go anywhere, do anything, or just be royals in general, she would want to just stay like that all day. Unfortunately, they couldn't. To many obligations stood in their way.
A few minutes later, the car arrived outside the Lasota castle. The driver pulled to a stop and opened the door for the prince and princess. Lilah smiled and got out, waiting for Cameron.
Cameron plucked up the puppy, who was trying to fight her way into a cusion and hopped out. He smiled up to the friendly-looking castle. Just as good as it always looks…
"Okay, so first I have to go find Lilac, then we can bring the dogs to the garden. After that, I'll have to talk to someone about a picnic. Unless I do that first…" Lilah made a mental list of the things she needed to do so that she wouldn't forget. That wouldn't be cool.
Cameron stifled a yawn. “Then we could take a nap.” He chuckled. “Sounds great!”
"We basically just woke up!" Lilah laughed. "How are you already tired?"
“The sunlight… it’s so waaaarmmm…” His sentence got interrupted by a yawn.
(My sister is upset about Mockingjay. Lol.)
"Then maybe we'll just stay in the freezing cold library so that you stay awake," Lilah threatened teasingly.
(xD)
“Awww nooo! I love libraries but a cold one? No deal!”
