"Aw, Lily… You can cuddle with me while he gets the movie," Lilah said.
"Aw, Lily… You can cuddle with me while he gets the movie," Lilah said.
Lily berked softly as Cameron rose. His back was stiff, yet he disregarded this and bobbed into his closet to get the movie.
(My little cousin asked a girl to HoCo and the pic is so cute and cheesy!)
Lilah laughed and pet the puppy.
"Someday, you'll get to meet my dog, Lilac. You'll have fun with her."
(0o0 i wish someone asked me to HoCo grrr (also HoCo is the best thing I’ve read all day)
Lily borked and licked her face.
Cameron opened up his CD case, pulling out a few movies. “I found some old disney ones…” He walked back out of the closet. “My grandmother hoarded this type of stuff.”
(Have you not seen it put that way? Also, I've never even been to a public high school – for school, anyway – so I haven't been to HoCo, either… Lol.)
Lilah laughed and moved so Lily couldn't lick her face.
"That's great! She had good taste in movies."
(Meh my public school is trash, though. If a girl I liked asked me I’d probably go with them, rather than a guy. Buuuuut i know it’s not gonna happen, I’m a Freshman, after all.)
Cameron laughed gently at Lily and sidled over to put the CD in. “She played them all the time, so I don’t know how well it’s gonna work.”
(Lol. Freshie. I'm a senior. :P
My fam keeps referring to my cousin's date as 'the girl'.)
"Hopefully it doesn't skip around, like some do," Lilah said as she set the puppy down on the bed. "What did you pick?"
(Ya ima freshieeeee. The girl… that’s something my parents would do xD)
“Well, I have all of the clasics on this one DVD because my grandma was crazy enough to… burn them onto a disk… whatever that means…”
"That's so cool! Which one should we watch?" Lilah asked.
Cameron shrugged. “I could just play it, and we can see what’s on here…”
Lilah's eyes lit up. "Movie marathon? We just watch however many of these we can until we fall asleep?" she suggested.
Cameron laughed, feeling warmed by her happiness. “Sure, if you wanna stay that long!”
"Of course!" Lilah laughed. "It sounds fun!"
Cameron beamed at her and started playing the CD. He hopped onto the bed.
Lily immediately took the chance and clambered onto his chest.
Lilah scooted closer to Cameron.
"This is going to be fun."
Cameron hummed his agreement and scratched Lily’s head. The opening title for the Disney logo comensed…
(Do you wanna skip to when the CD’s over?)
(Sure, sounds good.)
Lilah had fallen asleep sometime during the second to last movie. Her head rested on Cameron's shoulder, while her hand was on Lily's back.
When the last scene of the last movie passed, the screen flicked to black. Cameron yawned and stretched out carefully, accidentally waking up Lily, who went beside him instead.
Lilah blinked her eyes open when Cameron moved. She looked around for a moment.
"I fell asleep…" she murmured. "Sorry."
Cameron relaxed into the bed, hugging her close. “That’s okay. The disk just finished off… Disney movies…” He chuckled tiredly.
"Mm… Yeah, it was fun. Which one did I fall asleep to?" Lilah asked.
“I think the second one… there were about… there were a lot, but the majority I've seen already…” He shut his eyes gently.
"I missed a lot, then… Darn," Lilah said softly, blinking to keep her eyes open.
Cameron hummed. "We can watch it again sooner or later…" He was drifting off… "We have our whole lives…"
Lilah blinked a couple of times at the statement. Was she overthinking, or did he just elude to something…?
She hummed in response and finally drifted back off into sleep.
It was the next morning. The pair got woken up, or Cameron did, at least, by a customary knock at the door.
“Sir Cameron, I would like to speak with you.”
Cameron groggily raised his head. “No, Williams, go away.”
“It’s quite urgent, sir.”
Lilah stirred and blinked her eyes open.
"What's goin' on?" she murmured groggily.
“I don’t care if the castle is on fire. Go away!”
“Sir, it truly-“ Williams cut himself off, for he just opened the door to find Cameron and Lilah curled up together on the bed.
Lilah's eyes widened slightly, and her cheeks enflamed.
"Morning, Williams," she greeted him with an awkward smile.
Williams looked as if he’d been slapped across the face. “Sir, this is precisely what I warned you about earlier!” He regarded to Cameron, ignoring Lilah’s poor attempt at a causal hello.
Cameron mumbled something incoherent and pulled Lilah closer.
