Lucy babbled at her mom's voice before reaching out to the figure in front of her.

Jessica sighed ¨Nate I know your upset but it´s not like I had twins¨

"That's not what matters, what matters is that you didn't tell me. I would have wanted to know. What if something went wrong and you lost the baby?" Nate pleaded for her to understand.

¨Nate you were on tour and plus you should´ve found out I called your manager¨ she said.

"You told my manager and not me! Why couldn't you just tell me yourself?" Nathan stood up, suddenly feeling angry again. "It was your job to tell me Jess, not my manager's!"

Lucy heard his voice raise and started crying once more. His tone scared her and she didn't know who the guy was, or even heard his voice in the womb.

Jessica sighed and bounced lucy in her arms.

Nate immediately felt bad after the baby started crying again. He took her from Jessica and held her close to him, cooing softly to her in an attempt to calm her down again.

Jessica began to walk away and sighed sadly.

"Jessica Moon, would you stop walking away from me!" Nate hissed at her, not wanting to upset the baby again. "Why didn't you tell me yourself?"

Jessica turned around to face him ¨BECAUSE I WAS SCARED¨ Jessica yells not being able to controll it.

(Okay, so I'm only having him refer to Lucy as "the baby" or "her" because he doesn't know her name yet XD)
"Scared of what?!" Nate yelled back, forgetting for a second that he was holding the baby. "Scared that I would leave you? Because no matter what your reasons were, it was unfair of you to leave me out of this! She is not just your's, she's mine too!"

¨I know that but everyone I´ve ever loved left me, My dad my brother and I was scared you would to.¨

"I would never have left you. Especially not if the baby is mine. I would never have let you go through this Jess." Nate's voice softened and he stepped towards her, pulling her into him with one arm while holding the baby in the other. He kissed the top of her head reassuringly, "I love you too much to leave you."

Jessica sighed and wraps her arms around Nathan´ś torso.

Nate traced circles on her back, refusing to let go of her until he thought she felt better. "I'm sorry for yelling. I just-I don't know-I guess I was just upset you didn't tell me. I'm so sorry Jess."

Lucy relaxed in the warmth of the other person and enjoyed the small rocking motions. "Da" She said, her tongue rolling over her gums. That was The closest to a word she could say. Everything else was incoherent nonsense.

"No, don't do that to yourself. It's not your fault." Nathan shushed her, pulling her in even closer to him in an attempt put her mind at ease.

Nathan laughed and looked down at her, rocking her a little. "That's right sweetie. I'm here, you're okay." He cooed, kissing her forehead too with a big grin on his face.

Jessica pulled away and smiled at the two oof balls.

"Jess? What did you name her?" Nate asked, getting sad after realizing that he wasn't there to help her name their baby.

Jessica smiled ¨Lucy¨.

"Lucy." He repeated, smiling weakly. "That's a pretty name. I like it."

she reached up and kissed Nathan´s cheek.

Nate turned and kissed her after she kissed his cheek. He cupped her face with his free hand, not wanting to let her go just yet.

Jessica kissed Nathan back as she smiled into the kiss.

Nate held Lucy close to him and pulled Jessica closer. "My two girls." He mumbled against Jessica's lips, loving the way it sounded that he had a family of his own now.

Jessica smiled and kissed Nathan again.

Nate pulled away and rested his forehead against Jessica's, a little out of breath now. "Please don't keep something like this from me again." He chuckled, pecking her lips once more before pulling away to look back down at Lucy.

¨ I won´t ¨ she said happily.
