Nate shifted Lucy to his other arm. "Do you want me to stay the night so you can get some sleep? You're looking a little tired love." He offered, wanting to help out more with the fussy newborn.

¨Oh sure¨Jessica said with a smile. ¨You need to ask your parent though¨.

"My dad won't mind. He'll understand." Nate responded.

¨Okay¨ Jessica smiled.

Lucy let out a tired but nevertheless cute yawn, ready for her nap-or bedtime- she had no knowledge of daytime or night. Only when it was time to eat, drink, cry, and get dirty.

Nate gave Lucy a goofy grin at her adorable yawn. "Does she need to be fed before we put her to sleep?" He asked Jessica without taking his eyes off of Lucy.

Jessica Shook her head ¨No she doesn´t need to be fed ¨ She said.

"Okay, would you mind if I put her to sleep then?" Nate asked, hoping Jessica would let him help out more with Lucy now that he was back from tour.

Jessica smiled ¨ Right upstairs¨"she said and smiled.

Nate smiled back at Jessica before leaving the kitchen and beginning to climb the stairs to the second floor. He kept looking down to check on Lucy and he noticed that she looked like her mother, but she had his bright green eyes. He continued down the hall until he reached the nursery.
(there wasn't really a description for Lucy so is it alright that I kinda described her a little? That's just how I imagined her looking so I hope that's okay, if not I will change it…)

jessica smiled as her boyfriend and child went up the stairs. Jessica quickly then went to the kitchen to help her mother with dinner.

Nate stayed in the nursery with Lucy, holding her while sitting in the rocking chair. His eyes began to droop as he was extremely jet lagged after being on tour for so long. After a few minutes, he fell asleep, still holding Lucy.

I'm sorry but I just want to ruin his sleep.//

Lucy felt the chair stop rocking and yelled loudly. She started crying again and flailing her arms around.

(That's what babies do, making so much funnier XD)
Nate was startled awake at the sound of crying. He realized it was Lucy and immediately attempted to calm her. "Shh, it's okay, you're okay. I've got you, you're okay." He murmured over and over to her.

Lucy stuck her fist in her mouth, her legs in a peddling motion, kicking him each time.

Nate grunted when Lucy's feet first hit him. "Lucy, come one, it's time for bed." He sighed, trying to get her to settle down by rocking her once again.

Lucy calmed down and returned to the calm state she was in before. She allowed the person to take care of her and relaxed in the warmth.

"That's better." Nate sighed happily, being able to hold her closer once again. He stood up, still rocking her in his arms and grabbed the blanket from her crib and swaddled her up in it before sitting back down in the rocking chair.

Jessica had barbecue sauce all over her hands from making porkchops with her Mother. She had to put her hand in the sauce to flip the porkchop.

Nate continued to rock Lucy until he was absolutely certain she had fallen asleep before he attempted to lay her down gently in her crib.

Jessica was still cooking with her mother but was putting the food in the oven.

After putting Lucy to bed, Nate grabbed the baby monitor and headed back downstairs and found Jessica and her mother cooking putting food in the oven. Nate came up and hugged Jessica from behind, wrapping his arms around her stomach and resting his chin on her shoulder so he could see what she was doing.

Jessica smiled and turned her head towards Nathan as much as she could.

"Whatcha up to now?" Nate chuckled, still hugging her but he had turned his head a little more to face her.

Jessica looked at the oven then back to him. ¨I´m Making dinner¨ Jessica said.

"Dinner's in the oven now love. It seems to me that you aren't doing anything at the moment." He smiled and kissed her cheek before grabbing her hand and pulling her with him to the couch so they could cuddle while they waited for dinner to finish.

¨ I have barbecue all over my hands¨ Jessica whined.

"I don't care." Nate laughed and pulled her back onto the couch. "Cuddle with me!"

¨But you´ll get barbecue on your shirt¨ Jessica said.
