(He's so cute! If only my character wasn't an antagonist.)
Ahhhhhhh thanks man, I would say If you wanna ship them then we could figure something out? But then again the antagonist can't feel sympathy for the protagonist so my bad x.x
(I’ll be gone for a few hours, so if anyone wants the last antagonist spot y’all can let them join in my stead)
(Alright, gotcha)
(Darn, I don’t want this to die before it even starts…)
(Then go for it? The people might still come, I hope x.x)
(Alrightio crosses fingers in hope of another joining soon)
Marco sat at the head of the table, a large granite slate, and glanced at the food but didn’t touch it. A nervous servent walked in, bringing wine. Marco knew it was stale, as they always came. But this wine looked, smelled different. Marco frowned at the waiter, not much older than his fourteenth year. Marco drew his rapier, without touching it, and held it up to the server’s neck. The boy froze in a pale fear. Marco’s voice was smooth and deep like oil, “Why, little boy, would someone,” Marco moved the sword close enough to the boy’s neck so it cut, “Like you, think I, a man that experts on poisons, try to poison me?”
The boy seemed to go paler, shuddering and shaking his head. He started to back away but Marco’s sword followed him, “I-I-I d-didn’t -n-no- pl-please, I-“ Marco shoved the sword into the boy’s neck. The server fell, his blood pooling around his lifeless body. Marco dumped the poisoned wine onto the floor.
“Clean it up!” Marco called. Bustling nervous servants came in and started to clean up the body and the wine.
(What time is this set in? Like modern or medieval? (Edit: I hate myself so much for this like it totally wasn't written in the description))
(Medieval)
(Alrighty cool)
Jayson runs after an escaped criminal who had a little girl in his arms as a hostage "I swear to the lord, if I had a golden or even silver coin for every mile I ran trying to catch these idiots I would be so goddy wealthy!" He complains as he sees the criminal run into an alley "For fucks sake, why do they always do this?? IT'S STARTING TO GET OLD" He yells as the guy runs into an alley way and seeing how the guy is cornered, he holds a dagger up to the girl's neck "Don't move!" Jayson freezes "Dude, you don't wanna do that, trust me, it's not worth it" the guy laughs "really?" He holds the dagger closer to the girl's neck, drawing a bit of blood "Aw man….if y'all could make it a little more interesting to catch I wouldn't be this bored…" Jayson activates his powers as he manipulates the sound waves and leaves the guy frozen in place, Jayson walks up to him like he's going up to a stand to buy something, he takes the little girl and sets her down. He then proceeds to tie the man up and gives him to the king's soldiers to take him in. He picks up the little girl and walks always "How anticlimactic." He says as he returns the girl to their parents
“My liege,” A lady server, one of the ones he favored, began from his right side, “There has been some commotion near the manor and-“
Marco cut her off with a bored stare, “I’m sure it’s the king’s soldiers, no? It’s always the same, if they come knocking on my door, they have no reason to think me guilty of anything. They don’t no my plans, the only thing they can accuse me of is being a wealthy landowner,” Marco drawled, “Now, I’m expecting a guest, so get to work on cleaning that body.” She bustled away, helping the others mop up the blood and wine.
As soon as Jayson returns the kid, he looks everywhere for any signs of trouble, but nothing. "Now what?" He says as he casually strolls down the street, then decides to report the the king's castle. "Heya, your highness. I uh kinda finished my job" The king nods. "Very well." Jayson stands there like an idiot, waiting for something. The king finally sighs "Give him some coins for his work." Jayson smiles as he takes the small pouch from the soldier handing it to him "Great, yea thanks, nice working with ya-" he gets cut off as the king clears his throat. "Would you continue to work for me? I would pay you very well if you would be of service to this kingdom" Jayson thinks about this for a second "Hmmmmm could you uh possibly throw in a place to stay if I do?" A soldier growls as Jayson for the way he's talking to the king. "uhh, I mean, your highness" he bows quickly. The king nods "As you wish." Jayson half smirks half smiles "Cool, then just call on me if you need anything, I'll swing by in the evening to sleep" he says casually as if he were just booking a place to stay at an inn.
(I'll have to join in a little later today.)

In the middle of town, there was a fountain that Lilith always thought was beautiful. She sat on the edge on her black dress kicking her feet in it, the sounded like music to her. Lilith didn't have much to do right now besides watch all the boring people of this town do the same thing they did yesterday. Shopping at the stands, going to work, taking care of their kids. The sound of laughter entered her ears, turning she saw a young girl running around. Lilith didn't know if it bothered her or if she was jealous, it didn't really matter. Grabbing the girl by the arm she easily tossed her into the water hoping she would feel something. There was nothing, laughter, guilt, anger, there was none of that.
Marco tapped his food, then finally stood, “If my guest ever shows up, tell him to reschedule an appointment. He’s late,” Marco sneeered, walking out of the dining hall and making his way out of the manor with a frown on his face. He strowled out, a stable boy rushing up but Marco dismissed him with a hand. He walked out past his gates with feline grace. He needed something to do, something that bloodied his hands.
Jayson walks out of the castle and he makes his way into the center of the village, he goes up to the food stands and buys three meals for himself, he hadn't eaten in five days. "I-I'm sorry, five coins? I thought you said ten, I must be losing my mind" He says as he pays for his last meal and walks off, he sits on an empty bench and enjoys watching the people go about their day. I mean, what could possibly ruin the peace?
Marco glanced around. He did need to work on his plans, if he just found someone. Maybe he could go torment one of the king’s men. He spotted two guards, standing watch in the square. Marco smiled. A little flirting wouldn’t do him bad either, and getting an advantage with some of the guardsmen wouldn’t be unwelcome. He approached with his charismatic smile, “Boys, you both look so bored. Come now, I’m sure you have better things to do.” One of them stiffened, the other raised an eyebrow. Marco planted himself between the men, wrapping an arm around their waists, “I have something better to do, for you two handsomes.”
One seemed to blush, while the other looked slightly uncomfortable. He inwardly frowned.
The kid began to scream and cry, she ran to her mother which was glaring at her. For some reason she didn't like that, leaving wet foot prints behind her she walked up to the mother and kicked her in the stomach, which sent her flying. "Please don't look at me like that." Her voice was always monotone, and plain. With how different she looks, Lilith always had people stare at her a bit and she didn't like that. No, she didn't like that at all.
Marco’s attention shifted at the noice. He dropped his hands from the guard’s waist, walking in the direction with new curiosity, better spent time than empty flirts with other men. He saw a little wet girl and… something else. His lip curled upwards, “What might be going on over here?”
Lilith turned and her arm shifted to a sword. The mother and little girl ran away as she was distracted. Her face was the same expression the whole time. "Why do you want to know?" Slowly she lifted her sword and pointed it at his neck, her eyes zoomed in and and out. The eyes were one of the harder parts of her body to control. "We have no relationship, so why should I tell you?"
Marco smiled at the sword, at her eyes, “I think we might have something in common, you and I,” Marco drew his own sword, but not with his hands. He levitated it, turning it only so she could see, “Can I interest you in something? One of my… plans.”
Her sword shifted back into a hand and she looked him up and down. "What is this plan?" Maybe this will help her feel something, anything. "Will this help me be human?" She never asked to become this way, but they forced her and now she has lost all her humanity.
“Well it depends on what you consider to be human,” Marco replied casually, then nodded his head towards his manor, “Would you care to walk with me so I can explain there. This plan is slightly… confidential.”
"Okay." She shoved her hands in her pockets and followed thestranger, keeping her guard up, who knows if he will attack or not. If he was planning on that, she won't hesitate to kill him. "How far is your place?"
“Not to far, I promise,” Marco replied, turning the corner to reveal his elegant mansion, “Voila, here it is. The dining room floor was just cleaned, too.” Marco said, leading her into his manor. Though his shoulder’s seemed relaxed, he didn’t dare let down his guard. If she made a move to attack, he would have her dead within seconds. But he instead said, “My name is Marco, by the way.”
"Lilith," Her eyes darted around the whole place. It was nice and clean, super clean. She wondered if he had people that cleaned for him. "Well, what's the plan?" She didn't want to waste her time if this was stupid and wasn't going to work. No, she would rather mess with people in time square.
“Well, Lilith, I had an idea for people like us. It’s clear that you’re special, that I’m special,” Marcos levitated his sword for emphasis as he walked into the dining hall, “One day I got to thinking. Why do people like us live like this? Why do we live under the law, when we are clearly superior to them?”
"That os true, I guess." Lilith didn't care either way, but it sounded like it will give her something to do at least. "So, what are we going to do about it?" She felt interested and wanted to give it a shot, but of ot didn't help her then she will be leaving.
Marco let out a light laugh, “I’ve killed many, many people. All we need to do is expand that to a larger scale. We have our skills. We alone could take down armies, imagine if there were more of us,” Marco mused with a devious grin, levitating up a little dagger to twist it in the air.
