Vos's lips pursed in a slight frown. He found it rather odd that the lights had changed, but he didn't mind too much. The elevator was still going, which confused Vos. How high up were they?

"This feels a bit longer than usual," Bas said, speaking up as he glanced over towards Vos with a thoughtful expression. Everything about this building seemed quite odd; waking up next to a stranger, the color changing lights, and how there seemed to be no one else in the building.

"Maybe we were higher up than I anticipated," Vos mused. He did a slow turn in the elevator, though he nearly jumped when he found that the floors and walls seemed to be crumbling away. They didn't fall, even when the tiles crumbled away to show the city around them. Vos swore under his breath before looking around. The elevator appeared to be made of nothing but glass now

With a shy grin and duck of his head, Orion takes Calixto's outstretched hand. Saying his name a few times, rolling the word around, as if he could taste and savor it. Softly, Orion speaks. "My name is Orion. It is good to meet you. Eyes a bright blue, he follows Calixto, content to let the man lead their way.

Bas nearly jumped, taking a step back and running into Vos as he watched the tiles crumble away from the sides of the elevator. What was going on? He furrowed his brow faintly in concern before he stepped forward again, looking out towards the brightly lit city outside the glass walls, recognizing the same neon pink and purple hues again.

"This is…odd," Vos mumbled, squinting out at the city around them as they descended. He folded his arms loosely across his chest, scowling as he watched it

"This whole situation is odd," Bas answered with a slight shake of his head as he frowned, turning around, though he was cornered by the glass walls everywhere. All he wanted to do was get out of the elevator before it did anything else.

Eventually the elevator slowed to a stop on the bottom floor. Vos breathed out a sigh of relief as he stepped out and onto the lobby floor. It was totally empty as well, with the only lighting being neon pinks and blues

With a shy grin and duck of his head, Orion takes Calixto's outstretched hand. Saying his name a few times, rolling the word around, as if he could taste and savor it. Softly, Orion speaks. "My name is Orion. It is good to meet you." Eyes a bright blue, he follows Calixto, content to let the man lead their way.

Cal nods with a small grin as he begins to wander around the dense forest. The air was crisp and clean as if pollution had never dared touch it. Maybe it hadn't? Letting the thought pass, Calixto swore he saw some sort of wooden cabin.
"Think I found something," the tall man stated, already making his way towards it. It was a quaint little hut, but big enough to have several rooms. There were three windows in the front, a patterned wooden door, and a small plaque reading: Welcome, vacationers! To the both of you.
It was quite a specific message, and it unnerved Cal. They still needed somewhere to sleep however. Pusing open the door, small lamps slowly lit up the room as the two walked in. The wooden flooring seemed well polished, a few patterned rugs dotting the area. There was a small living space, a kitchen with fairly updated supplies, and a small hallway with two doors. Hopefully to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Beginning to wander down the hall, Cal pushed open the door on the left. A full bathroom. Then that meant…
Quickly opening the other door, it revealed a calm bedroom with a large window framed with delicate curtains. The only issue was there was just the one bed.

@Ca1iCa1--Is--Tired

Orion perks up when he sees the bed, made up with soft browns and greens, and pounces on it, wrapping the top blanket around himself. It only takes a moment for the cat eared man to start purring, loud enough that he actually appeared to be vibrating. Patting the space next to him, he turns bright blue eyes onto Calixto. "Join me! It's soft and comfy. There's room enough for two, and I don't mind sharing the bed." Softer, Orion speaks to himself, though with his enhanced hearing Cal picks up on it. "Especially not with a handsome stranger."

@Painted-Iris group

(Yes he is aaaaa)
Cal's eyes widen as Orion zips past him and onto the bed. The purring was kind of cute, however the odd offer from Orion made him weary. He was used to sleeping on his own, not having to share.
"I'll be fine sleeping on the couch of you're taking the bed," the tall man finally said.

"Wait, so you're saying that we could be stuck in this odd cabin tree house thing forever?!" She looked out the window, it looked like it was a calm, quiet morning.

Bas stepped out after Vos a bit hesitantly, looking around the lobby with a faint frown, noticing the same lights once again. There didn't seem to be anyone walking around the area, so he assumed they were alone on this floor as well. It seemed like a nice hotel…so where was everyone?

@_sleeby_rat_

"Well…This certainly is an odd predicament," Vos huffed. He looked around before wandering over to the front counter. He stepped behind it before looking through the cash register and other drawers behind it. There was no trace of anything, not even a speck of dust

"No…" Mary-Ann trailed off, not sure she wanted to present the other option but having no choice in the end. "We could… scale down from the cabin… out of the window…" She suggested hesitantly. "As a last resort of course." She added quickly, trying not to scare the girl.
"I guess if we're going to be stuck in here together, we might as well exchange names. I'm called Mary-Ann, but I guess you can call me any variation of that…"

Bas let out a small, exasperated sigh in agreement as he walked around the main lobby, studying some of the old, leather ottomans. Everything seemed to be quite new, as if no one had ever used it before. "See anything?" He called out after a few moments of thought, glancing over his shoulder towards Vos with a brow raised. For thousands of years, he had never been in such an odd situation, though being with someone else seemed to make him feel safer. Even if they were a stranger.

@_sleeby_rat_

"No," came the curt reply from the counter. Vos closed the drawers and cash register he had pulled open, lips pursed in a thin line as he stepped out from behind it. "It appears that no one has used this hotel yet. There are also no electronic devices behind the counter other than the phone, which appears dead. They lack even cards to get into the rooms, instead using an older key system."

Bas hummed, nodding slowly as he continued to walk throughout the lobby, studying each of the ottomans, leather chairs and cabinets spread throughout. There were a few lights, though when he tried to switch them on, nothing lit up. Letting out a short sigh, he looked back up, noticing a pair of tall, wooden doors that seemed like they could possibly be leading towards an exit. "Should we try going outside?" Bas asked after a few moments, looking over his shoulder towards Vos.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Shouldn't we try and find the café area? There's usually one on the lobby floor of such establishments…" Vos said as he began to look around. Eventually he came upon a pair of sliding wood doors of seemingly Japanese influence. Carefully, Vos pulled them open to find an enormous banquet table in the middle of an enormous dining area. The table was lined with every manner of foods and drinks, and the lighting was surprisingly more towards a pale blueish-violet

"Cool name, I'll call you Mary for now on. My name's Ophelia, it's nice to meet you Mary." She gave out her hand for a handshake, and did a small grin.

@RedTheLoveless

"Nice to meet you too, Ophelia," Mary-Ann said, slowly extending her hand to take the girl's, unsure of what this gesture meant but she took Ophelia's smile as a friendly sign though.
