“Vos,” the demon king introduced himself as, his answer short and clipped. He took another drag of his pipe, the smoke trailing slowly from scarred lips. Like this the neon light filtering in through the window struck him almost perfectly, illuminating him and highlighting his attractive features

Bas looked over towards Vos with a small nod as he began to study the other, though he quickly realized that he had been staring at how good Vos seemed to look under the lighting. He looked down almost too quickly, taking another drag of his cigarette to distract himself. How did he even end up in the same room as Vos? It's not like Bas was as attractive as them; with messy, dark hair and a grey, blind eye…he wasn't much to look at.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vos pinned Bas under his icy gaze, his look enough to make anyone squirm. He eventually looked away, exotic, sweet-smelling smoke drifting from his lips and the pipe as he continued to smoke

Bas glanced up for a few short moments, a faint frown crossing his lips as he noticed the other watching them almost…harshly. He met their gaze just as intently before he looked away towards the window, slipping his cigarette between his lips.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vos looked off to the side, exposing the scar across his left cheek that stretched a little over halfway to his nose. There was a significantly smaller scar across his lips below it as well, the lights highlighting the differences in his skin

Deleted user

Bas tilted his head to the side in thought, noticing the multiple scars that seemed to be all across Vos' skin. It wouldn't hurt to ask, right. "Where did you get them?" He asked after a small pause, turning towards Vos completely as he let smoke trail from his lips.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vos turned to look at him, his head tilted up slightly. “War,” he answered simply, more of that strange smoke trailing from scarred lips to curl in the air around him

Deleted user

Bas nodded and made a satisfied hum, deciding not to force Vos into elaborating. After all, he knew nothing about war anyway, being the god of medicine, diseases and the hurt. He even ran away from the one between all the other gods. It just wasn't his place. He released a small puff of smoke, returning his gaze towards the window for a few moments.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vos couldn't help but let his eyes trail to Bas again, despite his apparent distaste towards the strange god. He had never gotten along with them, what with his being a demon king. He had waged wars his gods hadn't liked, and he had eventually been struck down for it. But that was in the past, and he didn't give a damn anymore

(Sorry, I'm here now!)

Ophelia opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was a lavender colored cieling that had flower designs on it. She felt the soft blankets on the large bed that she was laying on. Ophelia got up quickly and scanned the room, seeing brand new shiny furniture. She inhaled the fresh scent and she walked around.

Bas slipped his cigarette out from between his lips, letting a trail of smoke escape as he held it between two fingers, seemingly lost in thought. He glanced up towards Vos and noticed that they had been watching him, so he simply returned their stare. "So, should we do anything?" He asked after a few long moments, tilting his head to the side in question.

@_sleeby_rat_

"Exploring would be a good idea," Vos answered, taking a final drag of his pipe before stashing it in what appeared to be thin air. He got to his feet, taking a moment to stretch before his gaze alighted on Bas yet again. "By my observations, we are the only two in this building. Therefor, we have the whole building to ourselves."

Deleted user

"Huh, the whole building to ourselves," Bas said, turning around in a circle as if he were pondering what they could possibly do, a faint smile crossing his face at the thought. He tapped his cigarette out, discarding it properly before he began to make his way towards the door. "What do you have in mind?"

(It's alright my dude. Just got worried about ya is all. If you don't mind me asking, but what time zone are you in?)

Mary-Ann had wandered into the living room when she heard gentle noises coming from the bedroom.
"That's odd." She thought aloud in a whisper to herself as she carefully walked back into the bedroom. She stopped in her tracks as she saw a random female walking around the room. She didn't sense any other being in that room with her when she left, so how did this female get in without Mary-Ann noticing?
"Hello…?" she asked the female, not sure if the light was playing tricks on her eyes. She squinted to be able to make out more details of the very-real girl.

"Food, for one, would be the logical item to search for first," Vos began, walking towards the door as well. "And then we find a way out of this…living album cover," he continued, his nose wrinkling a tad as he looked around. The hotel appeared to have no lighting of its own so far, other than many windows to allow the neon colors from outside to illuminate its interior

Cal had made a sudden "oof" noise at the sudden appearance of someone on top of him. Being a bit irritated, his tone came out more poison filled than it needed to be.
"Mind getting off, please?"
(AAAAA yes clumsy bean Ori)

Eyes widening, Orion scrambles off of Calixto, giving hasty apologies. "Sorry! Sorry, I didn't plan on that. Sorry again. I didn't mean to upset you." Felin cat ears pinning back, he rubs his fingers together in a nervous habit. Taking a moment to look around, his blue eyes widen, and a soft sound of surprised awe at the sight. A beautiful forest, with towering trees of every variety, some of which definitely don't exist on Earth. Protruding limbs perfect for climbing or napping on, maybe with someone curled up against him. Foliage colorful and bright, faintly rusling in the wind, with an ethereal fog wisping through the treetops.

@Painted-Iris group

Cal gives the man a suspicious look, but then nods.
"It's fine," he says quickly.
It wasn't his fault he was brought here. Well, he supposed it was both of their faults. Taking a good look at the man before him, it made him curious with the ears and tail. They seemed real enough. It was kind of cute how there were dainty ribbons tied around the russet and black tail. What was it about him that seemed to draw him in? Looking away, he took another glance at the trees around them. They certainly were beautiful. There were even wildflowers of unknown type springing up here and there.
"Kind of calming, isn't it?" he asked, not caring if an answer came.

@Ca1iCa1--Is--Tired

Lost in his thoughts, Orion casts a glance at the man next to him. "Yeah, it is." Giving a small sigh, Orion sits with his back against the rough bark of a tree, drinking in the sights and sounds of nature. Swiveling every now and again, his ears tracking the noise of creaking branches and the flapping of bird wings.

Bas hummed in agreement as he glanced back at the room, noticing how the lights from outside were abnormally bright. "Well, since we're in a hotel, they must have some sort of dining room area on the lower levels," he added, beginning to open the room's door as he motioned for Vos to step in. He knew quite a lot about layouts for several different kinds of hotels since he had lived in a few for some time.

@_sleeby_rat_

“Maybe they will have decent food as well,” Vos commented absently as he stepped out the door and into the well-lit hallway. He looked around for a long moment, seemingly seeing if he could sense anything. He had the ability to see the electric field caused by various different creatures and objects, and he found it strange he could only pick up the fields of Bas and the building itself

Getting to his feet, he offers Orion a hand. "Suppose we should find somewhere decent for the night. Name's Calixto," the tall man stated as he waited for the other to take the hand. It would be pretty dark soon. He'd hate for the two of them, maybe more being dumped into the middle of the wilderness with no means of shelter or at least food.

As Opehilia was exploring the room she heard a female voice and she turned around seeing a girl that she has never met before, "Oh… hello? Wait… do you know where the hell we are?"

(Nice, and thanks for understanding lately I've been super busy with school and sports. ^^)

Bas nodded faintly as he stepped into the hallway after Vos, glancing around with a small frown on his lips. Was anyone else in the building? He pondered the thought for a bit before he dismissed it, deciding that they would find out soon enough.

@_sleeby_rat_

Vos simply shook his head before making his way towards an elevator at the end of the hall. He opened it, squinting as he was bombarded by dim pink lights

Deleted user

"What is wrong with these people and the color pink," Bas muttered under his breath as he looked down, trying not too look up at the bright lights in the elevator. He walked in quietly, leaning against the elevator walls as he focused on the doors, intent on not glancing over to Vos. Somehow, the other already seemed to make him quite nervous, and he was set on not letting them see that.

(Yeah. Trying to balance sports and school is super time-consuming and stressful (at least in my experience lol). Good luck my friend and keep slaying on the field/court and in the classroom! :D )

Mary-Ann had to squint even harder to make out the newcomer's face.
"I know we're in a cabin treehouse of sorts… fully stocked kitchen and living room but I can't find a door…" She answered, leaving out the detail that she probably couldn't see a doorway if there was one. She blinked several times as her eyes began to hurt from the light and from squinting so much.

@_sleeby_rat_

“I would be satisfied if the lights were purple at least,” Vos muttered. As soon as he spoke, the pink lights flickered before turning a lavender color. Vos arched a brow before looking around at the lights. “Alright then.”

Deleted user

Bas looked up, frowning lightly as the lights changed to the color that Vos had requested. He hummed in thought before shaking his head, looking towards the elevator doors as if he were willing them to open any moment now.
