Halo looks up. "Fort is almost done." He says cheerfully.

"Really? Already?" Bastian asked in surprise. He sat down on the floor beside him, beginning to arrange the pillows and such

Halo giggles. "It's just placing blankets on chairs and securing them." He smiles.

"Yeah, I know," Bastian said, smiling as he adjusted all the pillows and blankets inside the fort

Halo giggles softly before helping Bastian. He hums happily, kissing Bastians cheek.

Bastian smiled widely when Halo kissed his cheek. He crawled into the fort, shuffling so he could see the TV while also lying comfortably on the pillows

Halo does the same, nuzzling under Bastians arm and releasing a happy sigh. Avie joins them, curling up beside Halo and releasing a happy and satisfied bark.

Bastian smiled widely as he reached over to give Avie a pet. He couldn’t be happier lying with them like this

Halo giggles softly and leans against Bastian tiredly.

So when should we have Halo get infected?//

(Well maybe he could insist on wanting to see where Bastian came from and then get infected while there?)

Bastian nuzzled Halo in a sleepy manner, seemingly enjoying himself

Halo smiles and looks at the other happily, kissing his cheek.

Halo doesn't really force things on people… Maybe he grew curious and found something of Bastians that takes him there or something? I dunno…//

Bastian kissed him back, smiling warmly as he did so

(That would work. Bastian’s got a sort of necklace thing that can teleport people to where he used to live)

Halo giggles and sighs happily, resting against the other.

Bastian eventually couldn’t help but fall asleep after a few minutes of lying there

Halo smiles a little and leans against Bastian as he slept, nuzzling into Bastians warmth.

Bastian was still sleeping soundly in their mountain of blankets, the occasional snore escaping him

Halo slowly opens his eyes, yawning. He smiles a little at Bastians sleeping figure.

Bastian was still snoring faintly, seemingly not waking up anytime soon

Halo chuckles brushing some hair out of his face before snuggling back into Bastian.

Does Bastian have the necklace on him or somewhere?//

(It’s in a wooden box sort of thing on his dresser. It’s kinda covered by random things but it’s still visible)

Bastian made a small noise in his sleep before cuddling Halo like a stuffed animal

Halo laughs a little, continuing to snuggle the other.

So maybe he's cleaning and he finds the box?//

(Yeah that’d work)

Bastian was snoring faintly now, apparently not getting up anytime soon

Halo chuckles and quickly replaces Avie for Bastian to hold. The dog looks disgruntled for a moment before she settles down. He smiles and slowly stands and stretches. He looks around at the living room, the kitchen and towards where the room was. Cleaning day.

Bastian sniffled a bit when Avie replaced Halo, but he didn’t seem to mind so much as he cuddled her

Halo starts with the room, tidying the bedroom. He hums softly as he adjusts a few things.

Bastian was still snoring in the fort with Avie. But when Halo neared the dresser, something appeared to almost becon him towards it

Halo slowly walks towards the dresser, almost as if he were in a trance. He lifts his hand and moves stuff out of the way.

Sitting beneath the mess of things was a simple wooden box. Though the detail in it was far from simple. The surface was covered with intricate whorls and symbols, the carvings seemingly inlaid with gold
