Avie barks happily and nuzzles into him. Halo smiles warmly.

Bastian smiled warmly and held Avie with one arm so he still had a free hand. “Okay, I’m hungry,” he chuckled

Halo nods. "Avie, breakfast." He places a bowl of food down for the pup. She barks and wiggles out of Bastians grasp.

Bastian spluttered a bit when Avie smacked him in the face with her tail on the way down, but he quickly recovered

Halo laughs softly at that, "You okay love?" He asks, kissing Bastians nose.

Bastian opened his mouth to respond, but before he could, he ended up sneezing

Halo smiles a little, kissing his hand. "Let's go eat, yeah?"

Bastian nodded, smiling a bit as he did so

Halo giggles and grabs his food happily.

Bastian nodded and began to make his plate, humming absently as he did so

Halo hums as well, sitting down and beginning to eat. He looks at Bastian with a warm and loving gaze.

Bastian returned his look, smiling softly as he began to eat

Halo looks at the other, swallowing his food. "Bastian? Since I've become this… what does it mean?" He asks quietly, his golden orbs glinting in the light.

“Well, you’re what’s called a Honuko now. Normally it’s a species reserved for former Lonakke, but you’re the first non-Lonakke Honuko I’ve ever seen,” Bastian answered

"What exactly does that mean? I mean, it's obviously supernatural. But I don't get it."

“Well, you’re basically a special type of demon. We all have some things in common, like increased strength and senses, gold eyes, things like that,” Bastian said with a shrug

Halo nods, listening intently. He wanted to learn everything.

“But most of us love gold too, and it’s the only thing that can kill us. We can all teleport to some extent, and we’re also invisible to the monster that turned us all into demons. Though I guess that changed a bit,” Bastian said with a shrug

Halo nods a little, smiling softly as he listened to the other.

“But every Honuko has a specialty, and all of them live either in or around the club we work at. My specialty is the mind, our leader Leon specializes in metal, and the list goes on.”

Halo nods, then looks down. "I wonder what I specialize in?" He wonders softly.

Bastian shrugged. “Don’t know. It’s different for everyone.”

Halo shrugs. "I'm sure we'll find out soon enough."

Bastian shrugged before taking a bite of his food

Halo giggles into his hand and smiles softly.

“What?” Bastian asked around a mouthful of pancake

Halo shrugs and smiles at the other.

Bastian chuckled and shook his head before taking a bite of bacon

Halo eats as well, happily groaning at the wonderful taste of pancakes. "This is great. I feel like I haven't eaten in years."

“Yeah? I usually suck at cooking, but I think I did good on these,” Bastian chuckled
