"I'm here." She smiled but was breathless l. "Sorry Um a bit late, you know work." They found a job that works well both of their talents, and it's not to bad. "So, what's for dinner?"

@Becfromthedead group

"Oh, you're already working? That's great!" Aurelius replied, "I've got lots of vegetables and some leftover broth from what I made last night, so I'll probably just make a stew of some sort. That'll go a little farther if more people decide to join us."
He waved to Quincy as she walked up.

Mara was lazily laying on Riven and followed behind Aurelius. "I'm tired now," Working was a lot harder then she thought, especially when she's never worked a day in her life.

Aurelius led Mara and Quincy down the street, and they walked for a bit before reaching his home- a somewhat small gray brick house with vines creeping up on a trellis on the front wall. He went to the door and unlocked it, then invited them inside.

"If only my village made me work, then I would be used to it," Riven did look tired at all, which surprised Mara. "Food will help me a lot," Especially since she hasn't she hadn't eaten a all day.

"Yeah, you've certainly got to fuel yourself. A hungry worker isn't exactly an efficient worker," Aurelius remarked. He went into the pantry and grabbed a pot and vegetables, then placed them all by the stove. He ducked down and lit a fire under the stove to heat it up.

"Probably because they pampered me and wanted me to be perfect for the sacrifice, I don't know." She walked inside as well and sat on the couch, closing her eyes. "I would help you cook, but yet again that's something I don't know how to do."

@Alex_Mercer

there was a knock at the door "hey… Aurelius?" Arioch was on the other side of the door "sorry to bother you but Zuriel won't calm down…"

@Alex_Mercer

"She saw fire, and other dragons. That's all i could get from her frantic breathing." he took off the jacket he was wearing and put it on a nearby hook.

@Alex_Mercer

"not sure, she wouldn't clarify anything. but judging from her panicked state, yes." Arioch followed behind him and joined the rest of the group

"I hope we can get out of here in time. We're leaving two mornings from now. Surely they won't… I'm not sure. I'm actually pretty worried," Aurelius said, fumbling over his words. "Although, now that I'm thinking about it, where's Val? Is she working still?"

So they all had a little bit of what was happening? Mara thought she should share what Riven saw. "Um, Riven say the person that attacked, maybe he could describe him a bit." She was sure he could do that much at least, even of it was a little bit. She waited until one of them answered, before walking outside to Riven.

@Fantasy-Illy!

Mara stood and walked outside. "Riven, can you describe the person you saw a bit more." Riven was laying down in some grass, he lifted his head when he heard Mara's voice. He had black hair and tan skin, the same piercings as Mara. He was on a big black dragon- Riven was interrupted when Mara spoke up. "Which should be impossible for anyone other than me to do." She knew he had to be from her village, she just didn't know how it was possible.

@Becfromthedead group

"So… you know this person?" Aurelius asked, leaning in the doorway. He cast a glance back to the others. "Did your village know about your abilities? Perhaps hate you for them? Or did they… could they have possibly sent you to track down our village? I'm not blaming it on you or accusing you of spying, as it could've easily been done without your knowledge."

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Um," Mara looked at the ground. She wasn't sure of what to say, she wished she had the answers. "I'm sorry, I don't know," Yes, they could easily have followed her to this village, but with her being on Riven, they wouldn't have found it this fast. Riven was fast so it would have been harder to track them down.
