Sabine walked sleepily into the kitchen, then saw the whole scene that was playing out. She just kind of stood there awkwardly. What did I walk into???

Zander looked up and saw Sabine standing there, and he shot her a look that said,"give them a minute."

Sabine nodded, sitting on the counter, not daring to open the fridge for water.

Dani pulled away from Zander gently. She nodded at Sabine. I told her.

Okay. Zander thought still comforting Mackenzie, but was unsure of how to help.

Mackenzie slid out of Zander's arms and went slowly to the living room, falling asleep on the couch. Dani sighed.

Zander went over to Sabine and Dani after making sure Mackenzie had a pillow and light blanket.

Sabine grabbed a drink of water. "Every day. I see people die everyday. But it just gets harder." Dani nodded.

(Dani and Zander need to do something that doesn't involve crying……………………or almost dying………)

Zander looked around silently at the two, then spoke."So how 'bout that fluf—er weather we're having?

Sabine just stared at Zander with a raised eyebrow while taking a sip of her water. Dani smiled. "Well, we've got cloudy and rainy with a few intermissions of sunny weather." She said with a small smile.

Zander smiled back and said."Great, right?"

Dani smiled wider. Sabine rolled her eyes. "M'kay you lovebirds. I'm going back to bed." There was a flash and she was gone. Dani sighed. "I have given up on making her stop using superspeed in the house."

Dani took some ice cream out of the freezer and sat down on a chair.

(Sorry I disapoofed I had to do something, and I got to go to sleep soon but for now…)
Zander grabbed two spoons and two bowls and took a seat near her. "How you feeling?"

"Not the greatest. Honestly, even through everything I've been through, these past four days have been the hardest and most stressful and surprising days of my life."

"Me too. Well it's actually been three days since I took the mission to target Blake." Zander said looking back.
