I don't think a follow feature exists yet

There should be an extra way to organize like with folders. There should also be a Google Drive type screen that holds all the pages so you can go everywhere with easy access.

@K there is a Google Drive type screen, sort of, that's your home page. With the way the site is set up, folders might end up being a little weird (I don't know for certain, as I'm not the developer), but being able to nest things would be handy.

Like other people have mentioned, having a timeline feature would be useful, so people could connect pages to certain time periods. Having a "world map" feature might be handy as well, so that pages (especially location, character, flora, and creature pages) can be connected to different parts of the world. It would be a very useful visualizing tool, and could help some people see what still might need done. Connecting the timeline and world map features might be handy, too, so that different maps would be visible depending on the time period selected.

I second this. A timeline feature and a world map feature would be great. It would definitely help the fantasy writers on here. (Like me)

Please give us a report/kick/block feature for all threads and users. There have been a few users on here that have been pestering other users, asking for information, being rude, threatening people, PMing people who don't want to be PMd, etc. This website should be a safe place for everyone, and I think a feature such as kick/report/block could really help with that.

Please give us a report/kick/block feature for all threads and users. There have been a few users on here that have been pestering other users, asking for information, being rude, threatening people, PMing people who don't want to be PMd, etc. This website should be a safe place for everyone, and I think a feature such as kick/report/block could really help with that.

@Isa It's not irrelevant! Some people prefer different platforms, and that's fine! It might also be nice to have an option to open a miniature discussions window in the corner, so we don't have to move back and forth all the time.

The ability to Create New on each page, that way I don't have to go back to each tab after finishing creation of a certain page. For example, being able to Create a New Character on another Character Page.

@divetoheart are you on mobile or computer? On computer for me there’s s grey circle with a + in it in the lower right-hand corner that, when clicked, displays a list of create new buttons for all page types I have enabled.

@Riorlyne I've noticed the plus sign, however with all pages enabled, many are cut off and thus I cannot create a new one without going to the main page again.
Hence my suggestion, which I also feel may make it more convenient when creating a whole bunch of the same type of page in one sitting. I could finish a character and then immediately click on "Create New" and begin again from scratch.

This will be controversial, but could we have character/word limits on display usernames? It gets hard to identify and use the @ system for people when their display username has more than 150 characters.

I don't remember if this has been suggested or not, but having an architecture/furniture page would be handy, especially for people who have races that are not quite humanoid. I, for instance, have centaurs, mermaids, and naga, all of which require different styles of architecture and furniture than normal humanoids, and it would be nice to have a place to put this information besides the race page.

Also, it might be nice to have subdivisions of the 'creatures' page, dividing them into things like livestock, pet animals, wild animals, mystical creatures, etc.

I'm pretty sure @"andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) " is coming up with a feature where you can create your own pages, that way he won't have to create a million default pages to fit the specific users' stories.

Seeing this recent series of suggestions, in which people are quoting the messages in their new comment to show their agreement, maybe having an upvote/downvote capability for discussions (especially this one) would be a good idea. It would also be good for you, @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), to guage what people want most.

I think it'd be a lot more convenient to have sort of a "save/delete draft" button in the forums. I came here from a website(mostly dedicated to Pokemon, but it has its own roleplaying section as well as other forums like creative discussion and a small talk section that are similar to some on here), and that was a feature that they had in their forums. I just think it'd be nice since Notebook seems to slow down sometimes, at least for me, and close out and lose all of what I was going to say. Just something that I thought would be handy! :)

If you do decide implement this new feature @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer), please put it in place for only this thread (Unless anyone else can think of where it could go as well). It wouldn't really work for general threads and the system is at risk of brigading or actually reducing discussion (It's been seen at /r/worldbuilding on Reddit, where art/picture posts are always upvoted more than text posts. In the top 250 upvoted posts on the sub, only 8 of them are text posts. There are several recent text like posts that are just screenshots. They were upvoted because they're seen to be easier to read).

I second this. And also adding on to this maybe you could implement the ability to follow specific users as well. Whether they’re your friends or what have you.

i’ve noticed there are some major accessibility issues with most of the world building tools here. The homepage is fine and is almost perfectly accessible. But, there is a lot of issues with most of the tools and to be accessible they need a complete overhaul

I might be the only blind user hear, but we don’t want to have the site get a bad reputation because of simple things like accessibility. Often, accessibility makes the site generally easier to use for everyone… not just blind users

and I would assume in the future there will be more blind users

I second what @ahollinger00 said, being disabled myself as well. Representation and accommodation is very important
